Oh well, let鈥檚 do it
Team Pretty signing in, finally.
First we thought we wouldn’t do it, since the theme was quite hard to implement in this time. Got lots of ideas, but most of them would require lots of writing and time, which we didn’t have. But finally we got a horrible idea and decided to go for it.
The game is basically done, hopefully will still have time to tweak some more features in. It will most likely offend some people, but that’s what art is about, right? So clearly our game is art. Whee!
We didn’t want to go for a literal way of doing it and we didn’t want it to be a monster. We wanted it to be the monster, as the theme states. Also we didn’t want to just post something random, silly or not-really-a-game-but-I-want-to-have-something.
So, Visual Studio and Paint Shop Pro open, Monogame in and off to write everything from scratch. Engines are so boring and take away the fun, so just say no.

Hey, what’s up? Only 5 votes on other games at this point? No fair!
I’m serious. Most people at the end of each Ludum Dare rate on 100 games, and some even go to 500. If you just rate 20, you will most like get around 25 votes on your game. Don’t complain if you only have rated 5 other games yourself.
That said, I’m going to rate your game mate! 馃榾
