First Ludum Dare!

We will be jammin’ for our first Ludum Dare. We will probably be making a Java-Applet  using Eclipse and Photoshop. Hopefully we’ll make something super cool and finish in time :D

Project Kitie progress.

Still no name for our game just a project title.  We have had a few road blocks with HTML5 but nothing we didn’t get past.  Our game is going to be a large mixture of different game play types that follow the story of Cary the cat trying to find Kitie.  The narration takes you from scene to scene as Cary finds himself in places he never thought existed.  The Photo here is a shot from World II where the adventure begins, it shows Cary making a sweet jump over some nasty looking clouds, and at the bottom sits Zoe, how did she make it here?

Our second LD Jam, fun times ahead

The Gaming Project takes a swing at city evolution.

Saturday dawns and our game is looking fantastic.  At first we were uneasy with the theme but as we started brainstorming we found an idea we really liked.  We wanted to make a city builder that would put you in control of a city in a randomly generated environment.  In our game you place structures that affect the growth of houses, your main source of revenue.  The houses are generated based on the properties of the tiles in the area surrounding your structures.  The game is turn based with a clock that never stops, you must think and build fast to shift your city’s growth towards greatness.

Strange Noises in the field (Ghosts)

Dear potential Ghost

I just wanted to give you a heads up. During your upcoming field test you might hear some strange noises.  Don’t be alarmed though it is what every new ghosts hears their first time haunting.  I’ve attached a link to a recreated version of what you’ll hear out in the field.  Unfortunately our machines can only recreate the ‘noise’ so well.  It sounds faster than it should and it seems to pound on the ghost ears.  Make sure to do your ghost stretches before field testing, don’t want to pull something and say “Hi” to Rick for us.  Haha That last part was a little ghost joke, if you don’t get it now you will.
