We’re an artist and programmer and this will be our first Ludum Dare. 😀 I think we’ll have to miss a day though due to “real life” (whatever that is) so we’re prepared to work twice as hard. >:) Good luck to everyone!

While my partner in crime is fiddling with code, I wanted to upload these screenshots of different stages in our development.

It was our first jam together and we had a blast! Unfortunately we had to skip the first day, I really think that last extra day would have given me a lot more time to polish all the artwork. The game will be published soon (it’s nearly 2am and the coder just erupted into a fit of late night giggles).

Just doing some screenshots for our game, I also need to make a trailer and pretty graphics for our Itch.io page. Anyone else leave these things to the very last minute? I also always tell myself that I will create beautiful pages for my jam games after the jam and then I never do... >_>;;

We're done with our submission after 3 days of jamming. I did all the art and this time, I tried out Tiled as well. I've never used a tiling software before so it was pretty hard to get into it, but I'm glad we used it. I got to learn about it and will use it in future projects as well. 😊 But seriously, I usually am much farther along with the art on the first day and this time it took foreeeeeever to get started because of learning the tiling software haha 😂

I really like how the red and black UI turned out so I used it for our Itch page as well 😁 The music is super epic as well so check it out!
