Since the graphist of my usual team is the only one to be avilable for the whole jam and since I convinced her to use this occasion to learn further how to code, I'll just help her with the music and the ideas but will only be active for 8 hours before only being able to be a moral support
So, all the usual team is there... But each of us will not be there during at least half the jam... Guess I'll have to learn to code in Lua this time.
So, expected roles:
Coding : @ihamfp, maybe @reuh, probably me
Graphics : @celestegranger
Music : me
Sound design : we don't really know yet
Level design : whoever is avialable when needed ?
I hope we won't go overboard with the scope this time ^^'
So... We discovered a group of sentient potatoes who evolved to survive at extremely cold temperatures. Here is a reccording of a conversation between two of them
https://www.dropbox.com/s/p9mhfp75v4h3ory/4_PotatoDialogue.ogg?dl=0
Here is the gist of a conversation we had several hours after starting working on the game:
-So, I just realized our core game mechanic is closing the game...
-Yup that's basically it.
-Okay, fine... Fine...
I won't spoil much, except the animation I ended up spending way too long painstakingly drawing, while actually programming it would have been more efficient.

I'm back after a few years long pause, and this time I spent most of my jam doing graphics, and fighting against my new setup to make music and other sounds. Ironically, despite having some experience with music, and barely none in graphics, I had an easier time with the latter, only finding the inspiration to compose a really basic tune in the last 3 hours.
Anyway, although we didn't really have the time to balance it properly we're pretty proud of the end result.
Tools used: - Engine: Godot - Sound: Audacity, LMMS, and my trusty mouth to generate all the sounds bar one - Graphics: LibreSprite - Version Control : Git
Hope you had a good jam, can't wait to play your games. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll follow my teammates' lead and get some well deserved rest.
