Goodluck Everyone!
After a slow start, I've got something * *slimy ** cooking:

After losing several hours to forgetting how quaternions and normals work, I am happy to have come out the other side. Time for some sleep!

It is amazing all the cool stuff I have already seen in progress shots.
Keep it up!
I have got the bulk of the mechanics down and now I am filling in the programmer art.
Trying to keep it relaxed, like this idle snail! https://media.giphy.com/media/xUPGcM6lSjrpF5mNwY/giphy.gif

:snail:
Everything is working by itself, now I need to fit it all together. Going to take a nap before the final push!

Welcomes to Snail Racing. Navigate your way through strange worlds to the finish line before the clock runs out.

I will be entering the compo using:
Unity, Blender, Photoshop, LMMS, and Visual Studio!
:bread:

All is quite in the house, save for the robotic mouse.

It is a dark and stormy night and you are given life, well, some. Find your way to the bread while collecting batteries to extend you life. Avoid rats that will chew through your power cord.

Player the game and let me know what you thing, here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/night-of-the-living-toaster-bread
In for my third compo.
A little nervous since I haven't worked with my tools much during the Fall semester!
-Engine: Unity
-Scripting in C#
-Modeling: Blender
-2d Graphics: Photoshop
-Music: LMMS (might try Bosca Ceoil)
Good luck y'all.
Conveyor belts!

My take on the theme is based on the sped up assembly time trope seen in a lot of sitcoms: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NPzLBSBzPI .
I am a little worried about trying to use the physics engine. Last I had a character with physics based movement that felt way too clunky! But this time I am kind of going for chaotic so hopefully it will work out.
Getting close to finishing the core mechanics. Now filling the game with assets in the last 24 hours is going to a lot like a rushed assembling line!

Took a spell to learn a new thing about shaders so I could write a glowing effect for selected pieces. Its small but hopefully it will make the controls feel more intuitive.

Move quickly to load different colored pieces into your bin and fill the incoming orders!

Back after 3 years 🎉
[Blender, Unity, Bosca Ceoil]
but excited to see where this goes in the remaining time...

Gaze deeply into my eyes so that you might escape…

Been a couple of years and rusty as ever. I’ve switched to Godot and only made Tetris so far. This will be 48 hours to see what I can make with that experience.
A goal of mine this go around is to include /some/ form of procedural generation. Sadly my implementation of the WFC algorithm is probably too slow to use, but Ima use the heck out of some Perlin noise!
