This is the first time I’m entering ludum dare. I kept hearing about the competition every now and then, but never got into it. This morning I started watching notch’s live stream and took the chance to hop in. Having a lot of fun so far.

LD30

Woohooo! I’m in too :)

YAY! My second LD! My first one was #28 where I made a game which I further developed after the competition and then released it on iOS (for now).
So, if you’re interested here’s the initial project and here’s the published game.

Now that Unity 4.6 beta is public I can and will use it against time to create something using the new GUI system. Just like I used LD#28 to learn about the Unity 2D stuff that just came out at that point, I will use it this time to learn about “uGUI” and hopefully come up with something playable :)

Main Tools: Unity 4.6beta, Blender, Pixelmator and Ableton Live.

Have fun, everyone! :)

LD#30 day 1!

Got a bit into the new uGUI System with some challenges I put myself into and it turned out ok so far.

For now there is a start, an objective and an end, but it is not a game yet. So I hope that a fresh brain will bring some more ideas after a short nap :)

Tomorrow there will be some more graphical work, sound/music and hopefully more challenge.
