Ludum Dare 48

Some Lost Gems

Since finals week is over (thank god) I've begun playing some of the games that still haven't reached the 20 review threshold while I shift back to patching my own game.

Here's some games I think should be pushed over the edge...

Lone Miner

Probably the most incomplete of the three, but also the best designed. There's a few awkward moments later on in the game, but it is very fun to play.

Hell Train

Felt like a fever dream the first time I played it, things just sort of happened as I played. Once you actually see what the fudge your doing the puzzles do make sense. Its probably a lot harder if you don't mash f instinctively.

Don't Pop Descent

Kind of a simple game, but I find it quite fun to just run around and just see what's around. Really the only crime this game commits is that it's too short.

That's all I got for my picks, I'm going to keep looking for more tomorrow since its getting late. If you have a game that hasn't reached 20 ratings yet, let us all know.

That's Night 1

Did ya know I like wolves? Ya who would of though XD.

It's about time I make a Wolf based game, and so far its going pretty well. The initial loop for combat is done and now I need to work on the grander part of the game.

Wrapping Things Up

I'm 100% feature complete (minus the title screen). I think this is probobly one of the less complex ludum dare's i've done. Maybe people will figure out how to play without a tutorial this time? Finally Done With An Hour Left to Spare

i just published A Wolf's Riposte, an idea i've had for the last 2 weeks that has been modified for Ludum Dare and i even managed to fit the theme in it this time.

Grabbing Games I haven't played yet.

While I finish up my Post-Dare version of my game, post a link to your game below (or any you think are worth playing) and I'll review it!

Got a question for you all

So I tend to make a Post-Dare version of my game after the jam has ended and I was curious: What do you guys feel about rating post dare version? * Should a game only be rated based on what was made in the time limit, or should we consider Post-Dare version in ratings? *

Plunging the depths

Wasn't expecting "Let's do a rougelike" to end up meeting the theme but, alright. I wanted to see if I could do my last project better since I liked the base idea.

End of Day 3

Finally ending working for today and I'm in a decent place. It looks like I'll have time for the goblins after all after I wasn't sure. Still not sure if i'll have time for a title screen though Plunging the Depths.pngPlunging the Depths2.pngPlunging the Depths3.png

Well I'm dead.

I don't think I've ever cut a Dare this close before, finishing almost all my debugging (cept one bug) with 10 minutes left. Maps of the Darkness Title.png

As is my tradition with Ludum Dare, Drop your game name (or link if those work?) and I'll play it and mayhaps you'd like to play mine.
