Minimal Viable Gameplay?

Just in time for dinner, we’ve thrown together a version with the most basic of gameplay. The working title is “Enlightenment” and all we can really say right now is that in involves throwing stuff around.

Not a hint of artwork… anywhere for that matter. Debug lines and white blobs is all we need for now.

Day 2 is going to be art heavy, so it felt like a good idea to get the core gameplay done without getting distracted. A few gameplay features and few basic sound effects should tie us over for today. Some great progress from other darers, looking good folks!

First screen. Not much, but enjoy!

P.S. Grey is depressing. Should really change that…

Day 1 sign-off

We pushed till 3am to fix some small issues that would have plagued us tomorrow. Nothing worse than the feeling you don’t have time to fix problems when you want to add polish close to the deadline.

Day 1 summary:

* Full gameplay (balancing required)

* Minimal artwork

* Only 2 target features missed off the plan (No SFX yet)

Next screenshot: Artwork!

It’s close of play for Xploit in our timezone, but it’s amazing to think how many people in other countries are still hard at work on their projects. Keep posting the inspirational work!
