I know I over scoped but I'm having so much fun making it that I don't care.
The idea is basically master mind in the form of trying to find a specific person given clues about their appearance, i.e. hair shape, body shape, skin color.
It's over scoped because I thought it would be really cool to play the game in 3D. So I'm now making a game entirely out of Unity's 3D primitives. I got the first person controller and random person generation done.
I've been sitting on this idea for my next game for awhile while I'm finishing the current one. This is a perfect opportunity to explore it further over the weekend.

This relentless shooter on rails with bullet time came from a side idea I had for awhile now. This LD started off feeling like I was way too overscoped but I'm happy with the result and the proof of concept which came out of this jam.

I was about to wrap up this game jam when a helpful member of the community pointed out to me that my model (I was using the Blender Monkey model) would not sit well for the compo judging. So this is the result of a few frantic hours (including some napping) of scrambling to model something in blender.

Super excited to be doing LD with my partner this time round. It's our first game jam together so we can finally become the game development power couple or crash and burn trying. Either way, it's going to be a fun weekend. :D
