LD 42

Finished in time :)

Another Ludum Dare is done, think this is my 6th in a row. My game is called "The Arena", it is a first person shooter. Where you have to destroy the platform of your opponent before he destroys yours, but you cant shoot the platform or the opponent directly. You have to bounce your shoot of something. While play testing I often bounced the bullet back to my own platform.

The idea sounded good, but earlier to day I realized the gameplay felt kinda slow, the solution more enemies :). So I added a few difficulty modes.

As always I had a great time and can't wait for next time.

The Arena for Linux and MacOS

Finally got time to make MacOS and Linux builds, I have never done that before. I don't have access to Linux or Mac to test them, but hopefully I got it right. Enjoys :)

LD 43

I'm in!

I got some school exams, but hopefully I get time to jam all weekend. This will be my 7th in a row so gotta keep that streak going :)

LD 44

The slaughter is done

Got through all the themes, many interesting. Hopefully I got the whole weekend for this jam.

Will most likely be working solo using Unity and Paint.net, if I remember right this will be my 8th Ludum Dare in a row. Can't wait to see all the games that will get created.

Slow going, but..

Had a hard time coming up with something interesting that I felt it could get done. So I went for a farming game, where you have to buy seed and equipment using your blood from a vampire vendor.

You regain blood by eating the blood flower you farm... yea I know not a great name.

You will be attack by enemies, so you have to balance your farming to keep you blood up.

Here is a what I got so fare, art is not my strong suite hehe, but I will try to improve it tomorrow :) early_screen.PNG

phew made it :)

Looked dark last night, but managed to finish. I even "improved" the art hehe. Had to scrap a few features and had almost no time for balancing, but who needs that when you got awesome pixel art with animations…

But like every game jam, I learned a lot and had fun. Looking forward to trying the other entries tomorrow, but now it’s time for bed. Have to leave for work in 5 hours hehe

A day at the farm

Ludum Dare 45

The slaughter is done

I got through all the themes, was a some good once, and a lot of jokes and just bad once. Maybe everyone should only be allowed one suggestion, make people think a little before choosing and cut down the total amount. LD-oct-209.png

Well game done I guess :)

Well I completed the game, feel it is missing a lot, but that's the price of brainstorming and sleeping too long hehe.

It's a simple platformer, but there are no platforms. As we all know naming is the hardest part of game dev, so don’t judge the name to hard hehe

Hope some of you have time to try it out.

I messed up :/

Seems I forgot to add the link to my game on the game page. Have added it know, if anyone wants to try it out. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/a-platfomer

If anyone tried to play the game this week and could not find the link am very sorry. Real life keep me busy after the jam, so didn't think of check in before now.

Ludum Dare 46

Been looking forward to this, but...

Have been looking forward to this for a long time and was planning to use the whole weekend. But yet again real life comes around and ruins things.

Hopefully I finish with real life stuff quickly, and still have time to make something.

Anyway I am looking forward to see what everyone makes. Good luck and have fun.

Well game done I guess :)

Didn't have a lot of time this weekend, but I managed to make a little game. As always I had fun making it, and that is want counts even if it's don't have half the stuff I wanted it to hehe.

Keep It Alive

Yes, it's called Keep It Alive, cause naming is hard. hehe

A few min to spare?

Do you have few min spare? Why not try this amazing game. There is no downloading needed. 3_small.png

Sales Pitch

Are you still looking for a game to test? Running low on hard disk space? Only got a few minutes to spare?

Why not try "Keep It Alive"? It plays in the browser! Its short, but sweet?

Keep It Alive Some people have had problems playing the game, if you have problems, try the game in Private/Incognito mode.
