Hello LDJammers!
We’re looking for a few experienced game dev teammates to join us in creating an incredible LDJam Game. We've jammed with 5-10 person squads several times, and hoping to assemble another big team to make something ambitious, cool, and full of neat content!
We have open positions for: - Sound Design - Music Composition - Environment Art - Character Art - Game Design - UI Design / Art
Here are some of the past games we've created: https://enigmadragons.itch.io/
If you are interested, comment here or message me.

There's a larger version available at my itch.io page if you need it: https://nickhenley.itch.io/ludum-dare-48-wallpaper
What theme suggestions are you sick of seeing again and again?
My current is,
Two is better than one.

Did my part! Lots of themes, some could be really fun. But way to many with "loop", "floating island", "frogs", or other ideas from previous jams.
Hope everyone will have fun during the jam, can't wait to see the theme
These two words are practically perfect for Ludum Dare. When our team slaughters, we look for a few things. In general, we won't go with one word themes. They're often too limiting or too vague. I think about how hard it would be to judge games on that theme and most don't make the cut. We also don't go for themes that specify mechanics or have complex coding or design themes. We want Ludum Dare to be accessible to beginners and gamers of all backgrounds. Having a hint of comedy doesn't hurt either. Enter "Cosmic Restroom". This unlikely combo is a perfect mix of fantastical and mundane, offering infinite possibilities and inspiration without limiting mechanics or skill level. If nothing else, there's always potty humor. Whoever came up with this theme, thank you.

My intent is the compo. I'm confident in my skills that I'll be able to churn something out. Stay tuned.

Hi everyone!
Yesterday, I released pyJAMa, a command line based improved theme voting python script and the response has been pretty great so far!
I just pushed a small update that adds an automatic update check to the program. This is therefore the only update notification I'll post on this site since from now on the script can notify you itself once a new version comes out. The changelog will always be available on the release page over at GitHub.
So if you want to download the update (or the script in general), you can find the repository HERE. Just click "Releases" to the right of the page and download the latest .zip version. Don't forget to read the readme, it answers a few questions that might come up!
Usually i join LD alone or with a friend and work with GameMakerStudio or in Python. This time i wanted to dabble with Unity and 3d games. I slowly but surely get the hang of Blender but my Unity skills are still lacking.
Anyway - maybe you are looking for a (still beginner) 3d artist with some programming knowledge for your team. If so just comment.
My references: This ship animation for now

I'll be joining this LD either way - see you!
This is the first ludum dare I've had time to finish. (I think I was a bit too optimistic on the themes)

This is my first theme slaughter and ludum dare in general and half of these ideas are just reposts. Come on people! Half the fun of jams comes from the originality and fun of the themes. So try and be serious. Please.
My recently slaughtered themes. I don't know if this is just random generator or someone planned it...

Someone explain! lol

As usual I wish you the best. See you later ++

I don't know why I still do this, it takes so much time, and there is more and more suggestions to slaughter each LD…
Finally finished the slaughter. I voted 'yes' for almost 1k themes and that's a reasonable amount.

My thoughts:
1) I noticed 3 or 4 themes that are really likely to win, but I forgot to write them down...
2) What's wrong with people posting themes that were use on earlier jams?! such as "Running out of space" or "Sacrifices must be made"...
3) I love some peoples creativity to smuggle "floating islands" without them being noticed, with themes like "islands that float" or "abstract masses of earth and grass levitating in the air".
4) A lot of frogs xD! Where did they come from?
