Been on the road in EU for the last week for work stuffs but I have some downtime and will make an attempt at something simple this time for LD. If I don't make the jam or compo deadlines I will at least submit something for extra. Lets gooo!
Godot / LSDJ / Blender or Crocotile
I'm making a game for WASM-4 fantasy console. I like the limitation of the platform with the screen size and the number of colors. But let's see the theme and if I can actually think of an idea to make.
I spent a good amount of hours fighting with Zig to create some basic template code to start the compo, then I dropped it and decided to go with C, at least I have experience with it and it will save me time.
I'm very excited for this LD, the last time I did one was edition 41, and I didn't even finish the game.
I already have a repo on github, if anyone is interested: https://github.com/CrociDB/ld51-game
hope we can have a perfect time this week!

(unless I get tired and need a nap)
Welp; first Ludum Dare jam, but have previously participated in other jams.
Unreal Engine - most people aren't using Unreal, since it's a bit on the heavy side, but I'm used to it, so yeah!
Not very good at graphics so I'm going to be using stuff from the Unreal Marketplace, and I am not going to be participating in the "Graphics" ratings.
Mostly by my self, although I have a friend who is going to be helping me with the idea and the music of the game.
17 minutes to go!
Got a weekend off so let's do this. Let's give Godot a shot.
This will be my first ever LD. I'm a little scared haha. I'm not really skillful in any one area of game dev (least of all art and sound production), but I am going to do my best to give this a solid attempt!.
I will keept at it until I make an interesting game
Impatient to start this Ludum with my teammates @Sigo and @Asheko! Good luck to all!!

I put out a post yesterday seeking words of wisdom and motivation from the community to serve as an unofficial community keynote! This was very last minute, thanks a lot for all who sent a video or message at short notice. Shoutout to @brainoid for whacking the video together at short notice too.

I'm in! Ready for another weekend of jamming.
Hello amazing game makers!
We are in! and I will be streaming most of the LD process on https://www.twitch.tv/tobugis (starting now!)
We will have a team of 2 to 4, depending on weather condition and available time.
We will mostly use Godot to make our entry ^^
And of course, once the jam is over, we will test your games live! But that is a story for next week
GLHF to everyone!

I'm in.
Can't wait to make this game with @Sigo and @louis-mareau ! Hope Everyone will have as much fun as i will ;-)
Gonna try to make a game with some friends. Using Godot as the engine lets goooo :D

Returning once again for another Ludum Dare!
This time I'm going to try to see if I can bodge something together out of WebGL. I have some testing code (a model loader and some basic shaders) which I'm going to use to save me some time in the jam.
For other tools, Blender for 3D modeling, Audacity for audio, Notepad++ for text editing (IDE?).
Good luck to everyone participating the jam!
Hey there! it's my first ever game jam and I can't wait :)
Good luck to all !
