Never tried this so brace yourselves.
First Thank you so much to my team, you guys were awesome, loved brainstorming all those nonsensical ideas and working on the game.

This was the initial concept for the game, it revolved around stuff that would affect the behavior of a flock of birds being placed on the scenario, attracting or repelling, and using this you would guide the flock to a goal.

This being said the concept was well received by the team and not long after this I committed a serious mistake, I jumped to it trying to finish the bird right away, and to make everything worse I over complicated the sprite and didn't say no to the 8 directions movement on the sprites and as you can imagine it took waaaay to much time.

The bird was done, started working on the background then stuff happened, the project changed, nothing much I could do about it, in the end it's a Jam stuff can happen and we need to go along with it having fun.

Now we had a new game where we would kill the birds, I had to hold what I was doing and got to do turrets.

Now this is all I did, way too little, but got some time to rethink how I do things.
So I end up thinking about this 4 points a lot for my next Jam and I suggest you think about this to and maybe integrate some of this to your workflow.
And before you se this I do know that nothing here is new, but simply is something that even though I knew it I didn't do, and cause of this will try to fixate these on my mind for my next Jam.
*1 *- Do placeholders for most of the things before you start finishing stuff.
*2 *- Talk more whit the coders to understand what they need and more importantly cut what would only be bothersome for the time frame.
*3 *- SELEEP WELL!!!
*4 *- This one is uncertain, but when doing your first sprite try to time it so you can more or less understand the time you will take to the others, this way you can choose which sprites to tackle first.
Thanks for reading this.
