Work still in progress, but what a progress!

Ever felt like an impostor? Well, our main character does. He is a student of the summoning school of Fauxmancia and is also non-magic born. Now he faces an exam where he has to summon certain creatures. How will he solve this?
It has been a great two days for us, and the game has finally finished. With, of course, some of the bugs still there, but heck, it's a game jam. Everybody on the team has picked up daily life again while I do some final checks, build, and deploy the project.
If you want to try it out. Play our game, and leave a review: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/fauxmancia

The game is simple, but a little manual will not be useless.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with sound design this LD Jam!
I wanted to take a break from BFXR and LabChirp this time, so the only tools I used were a nose whistle (aka Bocarina) and a crinkly protein bar wrapper, as well as some other odds and ends.
It was a lot of fun! How did your sound design process go in your game?
Thank you everyone so far who has played my LD55 compo submission considering the awful circumstances since my father had his accident a couple of days ago. Appreciate all the support, and I look forward to playing more of your games.
Made a big change to my itch account and socials today. This will not impact my Ludum Dare entry as the redirects from the old link still work. But for the future I will be releasing games under the new moniker, Amadan Interactive (named after the Irish word).
Went with this as I needed new social accounts for gamedev that actually functioned, and I think the new name suits my projects more than my old musician name that I have had for near a decade.
Made a banner based on my Ludum Dare entry!
Change is scary, but with very scary things happening in my life RN, maybe it's time to get what is necessary done.
and I regret nothing

Had to take a little break but now it's time to play some more games!
Streaming over at Twitch so come and say hi and send me your games :)
I'm going to be entertained for a few days
The important thing is to catch the zen...

That's because it's nighttime here in Manila as of this writing, and I need to recharge after a hot and sweaty day of development.

And to serve as bookends, the "THE END" screen is basically the title screen of Bittersweet Harvest, my LD52 entry.
Share your thoughts about it below in comments

Now that the compo is over and I got some well needed sleep, let me introduce you to Summoner's Pit!
Summoner's Pit is a fast paced old school survival FPS. Collect scrolls, summon helpful creatures and stay alive for as long as you can.
I went hard on this one with multiple animated 3D characters, hand painted textures and even some decent music for a compo game. While I did end up cutting a lot of features, I'm proud of the result so check it out :)

This is the main character of our game. She's a witch that's not very good at summoning.
All of the sculpting, retopologizing, modeling and rigging was done in less than two days. I probably never created a game-ready character so fast. She's using mixamo animations because we didn't have the time to animate, but I also had to learn how to use mixamo.
Here is how we're feeling today at "Furaune" HQ...

We finaly found how to name our Rave Party !

get ready for...
In this Devlog Weyeto started to put code for Operation Brick Desert Together this project started out as Compo Entry at this point in it's Development but the game ended up in the Unfinished Catorgy which added more of my favors when it come to me making stuff for CS50G, Roblox, or my game I've made just in Java since 2016

After two sleepless nights and tireless effort, we find ourselves on the cusp of completing our game. Despite the challenges, our team has relished every moment of the journey, pouring our hearts and souls into every pixel and line of code. The experience has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but as we near the finish line, we can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

Weyeto started the day working on sound experiments and making his way to solving a new case in Roblox and Unity was dying from the creation of "Stock Vector LD 53 Case File" created 4/XX/2023
