Dr. Zorongo gameplay almost ready

ZorongoGameplay.gif It seems like Dr. Zorongo moves like shit, soon we will see how he travel through pipes full of poop

Progress update

Still 7-8 hours left, need to add the actual goal for the player, advancing levels, some UI stuff and all sounds.

Done and Done! Sherpa Surfer is Live!

For all Intents and purposes, "Sherpa Surfer" the silly social media simulation / world geography knowledge test game is complete. It's strange, to have a game done in <48 hrs that is meant to simulate a site. Very different approach from my previous LD submissions.

This was my 4th Ludum Dare, had a great time!

Disclaimer - game is pretty hard if you a) don't have a map open in another browser or b) don't know jack about distances between countries.

Enjoy!

Need to work on some actual platforming sections and then just polish polish polish

Unfortunately, I must resign

It looks like I'm not going to be entering this LD, so that means 2 competitions in a row :( Unfortunately I just didn't have enough time, and my concept was too ambitious. I did manage to get some cool ideas in there though, so if you're interested, you can download the source code here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/n8o767cmtnjkvza/LD38+-+A+Small+World.zip

I wanted to post this as a game for completeness however since there's no other gameplay other than messing with a terminal window in an office and getting it to print things I feel that it's not worthy of being posted as an actual entry.

Good luck to everyone who's still going, they look great! :) I can't wait to come back in August when I'll actually have time to enter. By then it'll be a whole year since I last entered... weird.

SadLittleSmallWorld

So this is how it's going. At the momment i have all the rules writed down, now im editing cards so they are no longer vertical, but square, so you can place it the boardgame in any direction. Also some themed cards, with elements, since its easier than my first idea (beast and living forms) but not discarded if i get more time in a future version... Clipboard02.jpg juego nuevo.jpg

This is the best party in any RPG ever.

I was working on my jam game until 3 AM and the best part about it was when I decided to name my party. I'm still laughing looking at it.

It's finally looking good

After making the intro and tutorial, I got around to improving the looks of the game. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

I also made a sound effect, which is a first for any of my games. In unrelated news, I added a mute option.

I'm still not sure how to call this game, but I've got some time to think about it over dinner.

Done - Near kingdoms

This is my second LD game, as soon as possible I will submit to compo

It's a Doll's World After All

After a very slow start yesterday, we've managed to pull this one off I think. With a slightly liberal interpretation of the theme, we have a top-down puzzle game featuring the horrible dolls from the "It's a Small World" ride (look it up, never be free of that incessant jingle again). Spent most of yesterday developing the lighting, pretty happy with the result. Development from now is however many levels we can crank out before the end of the night. We both have work tomorrow so despite submitting to the jam we won't get to take advantage of the extra day.

HTML5 version of the game is available on itch.io: https://glenugie.itch.io/dollsworld

Changing tools for SmallRTS

I started late yesterday with low motivation and new tools to learn (UE4).

So today I switched to Pixi.js to make things easier for me ^^'. Still got low motivation, so better make it easier. I think I won't make it for compo so I'll run for the jam.

Low progress so far on the rendering side but at least I've got the code structure in place. Need to go forward!

I'm also streaming on twitch if you want to take a look ;) (and I have my cat sleeping on stream)

Saboteur is Done!

My entry, Saboteur, is finally complete. Download it here (Windows, Mac, & Linux):

Flowers

There are beautiful orange flowers growing outside; and now they are also growing inside my screen.

I might be in?

First time LD and sadly I had to work the entire weekend, so I won't drop in for the compo. I could mash something together in 7 hours, but I also feel like taking a nice long bath, so I'll probably end up doing that instead.

I got a pretty sweet idea for a smol game though. I hope you like gardening.

COTTAGE - DEVLOG NUMBER 3

This is probably biggest update! :D (for now)

So, what i created? Well.. Most of "background" work is DONE! (engine stuff, you will see it as menus and moving character :D)

Yesterday i wrote, and wrote, and wrote...!

And that's not all! I also finished drawing of tileset and building of areas!

And, now my obligatory question!

Hard light Hard light.gif

or Soft light? Soft light.gif

Most things work

The basic gameplay is there, the AI can do basic tasks and you can shoot annoying people in the face. Most important feature:Unbenannt.png
