Graphics progress!
End of day 2 is soon upon me and @bytegrove. We finally have some graphical progress! We also have pretty much our level design done, but tweaking is needed here and there. We'll see how it turns out :)

Not going nearly as fast as we (naive-ly) hoped, but I'm quite happy with the pace now:

Well, I completely scrapped all my work from yesterday, because I decided to change what the gameplay part of my game would be.

Instead of some sort of planetary production company – my original idea – you now control an NPC-inhabited planet. You spawn some in and see what they do – right now they try to build houses, which you can destroy if you like. My hope is to simply pack a bunch of stuff in – I would be incredibly happy if I could put in enough types of NPC interactions to keep the player occupied for ten minutes. My game probably won’t have great replay value, but hopefully it will at least have some value for playing for a small amount of time.

Work in progress :)
I don't think I'm going to finish in time, I spent at least 10h at resolving a single bug :( http://i.imgur.com/hCejqw4.jpg
With less than 6 hours left, it's become painfully obvious that I will not be able to make my 'A Small world' game in 48 hours. But I did learn a lot from trying, guess I'll just have to try again at the next Ludum Dare :P
My solo project for LD38 has just been released! :beers:
Your mission: defend Earth from incoming meteors, change the orbit so important structures are saved. Build a space ship to leave the planet!

I don't believe we didn't do it sooner. But we are already almost finishing our game haha Sorry. We are in! I don't know how to tag more people on the post, but the team is: @lucas, @sketphantom, @itzal, @valmirt, @victor-sette, @dark1knight
Our game SUNNY WORLD has almost done!
It's hard to focus on the jam when you have a cute puppy in the house :dog: // Rasmus

Finished my little game

One girl told me "It's worth trying, every attempt is valuable thing". Today I failed many times. The worst is fright of not ending my game, and thought this spoil every next experience with Game jams. But despite all this failures I have main part of my game.
I don't know how the gameplay itself would work. I just throw everything in mind about circling something

Here are some of my brain storm. Um... lots of them are scribbling about how the game would work
At first I really don't know what should I make. I thought about petri dish, microscope, planets...

Then I did some prototyping with some paper..

also lots of technical thingy

Even though the code quite complicated, but surprisingly it's quite relaxing for me. I almost forgot how fun and interesting game development could be :D
I guess I'll upload the game now. Eh, after the upload system published by @pov.
