Getting there...

I've been a little intimidated with all the really interesting-looking games that are being made, but as I'm not super experienced by any stretch of the imagination, I'm satisfied with what I have so far!

I'm going for a idle-ish building game where you have limited spaces (a small world?!) to build on to gain more resources. Most of the base code is done now, I just need to add more buildings and such and expand the game more, and add a main goal to work towards! Also have to put in all the art, too. Here's a screenshot so far! Screen Shot 2017-04-24 at 12.46.57 AM.png

Jump out with the fish

So guys, as I see most of the players don't except you have to jumpp trough the red ring if you grow enough. Yes, you will jump out. To put it simple, reach the far left wall in the room :)

crunching out the levels!

Soo everything is going good I just have a medal GUI and a pause menu to implement and the rest is just crunching out the levels... The only problem is I have school in about an hour and a half soo that's 8 hours just gone

Autopilot is the WORST

I wanted to have a 2 hour nap so I set my phone and laptop to have alarms, and instead I slept for 11 hours because when they went off I somehow got out of bed and turned them both off in my sleep and returned to bed. bb9d8702b9[1].jpg

Genesis Planet Kit

Wanted to upload a few of the high res instructions as I am quite happy with them :)

Waking up looking at my game with fresher eyes and yeah, I am quite happy with it. Not sure anyone will "get it" or enjoy it, but I like it :)

The labyrinth

I realized this game in a local group. We had a local theme : "We are not alone". I used Construct 2, known 10 days ago...

In the final stretch!

My team and I got a lot of work done today. There's still a little more left to do that will bring it all together in the end! Here's a video of what has been done (which doesn't include the audio for the footsteps, etc. since Quicktime doesn't record computer audio...) https://vimeo.com/214463523

Stable Orbit: Kerbal Can’t Program

I didn’t think I had any time this weekend, so didn’t even do an “I’m in!” post… but yesterday I realized I was free (enough) and could give it a shot. I made a very small gravity-based game: Stable Orbit (source)

The goal is to… get some stability in your life.

I had fun making this – especially making the tunes/sfx which I spent far too much of my time-budget on. I feel like for the limited time I spent on it I ended up with something that was pretty “finished”: which is not bad for an LD!

Tools:
* Ableton Live
* Aesprite
* Pixelmator
* Matter.js (physics lib)

Have some artwork

We spent most of the first day designing and testing the idea, second day artwork and basic coding, now we are working on the meat of the game code. Fun times ahead!LiquidProcV1.png

Well, there's no difference against the Compo version but the better gameplay experience and less bugs. Please try it out :)

Picking up speed!

I need to admit that yesterday evening I was in quite a panic. But after the first few hours of todays development I'm getting optimistic that I might in fact finish the game - and hopefully even make it fun ;) I'll be coding some more features in the next 2-4 hours and dedicate the rest of the time to tuning all values.

Anudin out.
