I think I've got a good idea, just trying to work out the details. It's currently a point & click escape game where you're trapped in a virtual reality.
I'll post more about it soon; stay tuned!

After reading some of the blog posts I saw a lot of people took the theme literally. Our team had an interesting idea in which we are exploring social relationships and interconnection
It is the first time we are in for Ludum Dare! We are in for the Jam and currently done 1/4 of the game in the last 12 hours. Get prepared for a door-knock from a Small World! :D

So uhh, my plant watering game is coming along nicely, I guess... Had a constant 6-14 viewers on my stream so far, so I guess I'll be doing that tomorrow too. Now I just need a break, I'm getting burned out. Sometimes solo compo isn't that fun
I know I over scoped but I'm having so much fun making it that I don't care.
The idea is basically master mind in the form of trying to find a specific person given clues about their appearance, i.e. hair shape, body shape, skin color.
It's over scoped because I thought it would be really cool to play the game in 3D. So I'm now making a game entirely out of Unity's 3D primitives. I got the first person controller and random person generation done.

Will get the best of me. Write it on my tombstone.
First I wanted to create a game based on Small-world Networks. After 3-4 hours I had a prototype that showed me that it was no fun to play at all . Thus I've ditched the idea and started working on a 1-screen game on a floating island.
Added a procedurally generated river to my small world(s).
Should be able to get to work on some mechanics using my multi-terrain-typed randomly generated maps now...
Finally got the icefield to work as I wanted! (still need to make it slippery)

I'll work on the gameplay as much as I can today, and tomorrow will be the time to polish everything :)
Hi! It's the first time I'm goint to make this alone, so I hope I can finish the game :) I'm going to use Godot Engine, it's open source and it's really cool, you should try it!

Prototyping :)
Basic project ready. I need to get something going soon because my daughter wants to see her sprites in action.

I worked on my project for 4-5 hours last night before heading to bed. I finished the core designs, animations, and user input handling, which is a bit more than I was expecting to get done. They are VERY simple.
Here's a little teaser image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3upCCoia9cSWEhWaWFMUUk4WGs/view?usp=sharing. As you may be able to piece together, I took the "Small World" theme in the direction of unexpected social interactions.
Today is the real test to see if the ideas I've been brainstorming turn into a game that's any fun to play. However it turns out, I've already learned a lot (first time rigging and animating with Unity!) and am enjoying seeing what everyone else is creating!
Well, me and my team are facing another change in the gameplay. From collect resources to puzzle game and back to 2d action. We'll never finish something!?
Well, it's a game about how to rule the little world of my home by hiding all valuable things.
After about 7 hours work, I just finished by gameplay prototype of my game. More difficult than I expected. Hope I can get this done.
Can I use the animal asset from Unity Asset Store in Compo? Looks like it's too difficult for me to make the cat mesh and animations by myself. Advices are most welcome.

Feeling pretty good so far! Time for me to sleep, though ^^

I’ve got a pretty solid idea of where I’m headed, just need to plot out some gameplay.
I was up pretty late last night making the game assets for my title. Sprites are done and the framework for level one is completed. I took the theme literally, as every level gets smaller, and as such more difficult.
