WOAH!!
I just found a new cool feature on the game browsing page!

This is going to make game browsing so much easier, thanks!

This is my first ludum dare and I m so excited! I'll do my best to create a good game.
Will be my first time competeing this Ludum Dare after following the last few. I was wondering how everyone plans their time best. Are there tools you always use, personal rules you follow? Be great to hear how people tend to work.
I Just can't wait to start making new game, This is my third ludum dare and this time i want to make something completely different!
Got head full of ideas? Can you paint/sketch/model them? Are you at least somewhat reliable and expect the same? Come make ART with me! I need you!
Look at my games to assess how much I could achieve alone in 10-20 hours. Multiply that by 1.5 since I won't have to deal with art too much if you help. Music+sounds also welcome. I mostly suck at design.
I can devote 20+ hours in 3 sessions over the weekend. Best if you're around Europe's timezones but it ain't a blocker.
I'll supply code, most probably in Unity3D + C# in order to not waste precious time (on my end), constructive design criticism, some sound effects and maybe even a simple tune.
I work for an AAA company and LD has always been a way out, at least for a weekend. Have something finished and not look back (unless it's too good :D)
Who's up? Come make a game with me! :fist: Drop a comment here today
Going for my first LDJam. Going to do a team game just for the fun.
I made this shortly before LD 38 but I think it's still relevant and hopefully useful if you're new to jamming :)

So turns out I am going to a party from Saturday night to Sunday, which is really going to eat into my time, and make me very tired, but I am going to try anyway. Currently at school I am just working on making games, so will probably be able to work on my LD game at school, which will give me a lot more time on Monday.
I’ve been in since LD 30, and hope to never stop, I really don't want to lose my streak!
I’m in for the 11th time in a row!
Last LD I tried using Lib-GDX, and it was really nice, but this time I think I am going to try using unity (since I am not doing Unity at school and have gotten a lot of practice in it)
Language and Library: C# in Unity
Graphics: Paint.NET, Piskel, maybe Inkscape
Music: LMMS, maybe Abundant Music or Bosca Ceoil. Depends on how much time I have left
SFX: Might use SFXR if I have time or just Audacity.
It's going to be hard, but will be fun!
Would anyone like to team up and start building a website that is designed for helping people get teamed up for game jams? This way people can join a team with the role as artist or programmer. This might make it easier to get a full, productive jam team. As a programmer, my art is hardly game worthy and I find finding artists troublesome, or even other programmers.
Possible Logistics of cite: - Use of github for the actual website making (with HTML, CSS, JavaScript...) - Then we can host this on some arbitrary server.
Comment if you're interested.
Missed out on the last one (ouch), but this time I'll be back for more. :)
This will be my sixth LD, and I am looking forward to it.. as always. My tools of choice:
I haven't done a Ludum Dare in at least a year, so heeeaaarrr we go! I will be using
Unity with C#, Visual Studio, Audacity, LSDJ running in a GB Emulator, GIMP, ASEPRITE (maybe), and Creature Animation (if needed).
This is my first ludum dare, i am so excited, i am using : Unity C# for Making the game (duh) Blender And/Or Magica Voxel for 3D Visuals Bosca Ceoil And/Or LMMS for Sound design Gimp and/or Photoshop for 2D Visuals (Cold) Hot chocolate, and hopefully popcorn with cheese :D That is my tools, and i am really excited for this ludum dare, and to see what the theme is, and what other people make :)
Hello! I accidentally created a game entry for Ludum Dare 40 (by clicking the "Join Event" button), but I plan to work with another user. Is there a way I can "un-join" the event so that I can be added as a collaborator to his game? Or can I still be a collaborator without "un-joining"?
thats what my friend told me to say
im like
joining and stuff
kthxbye
I'll be making something, maybe VR, maybe something with weird technical limitations.
Will be using Godot 3.0, Unreal or something else.
Here we go again...
tools I will be using for this LD:
Shyer, my own javascript game library (code) Affinity Designer, PyxelEdit + iPad (art) Garage Band (music, sounds)
good luck to everyone, have fun!
Teletype for Atom editor is really cool. I'm wondering if anyone will be using it (or have already used it) to collaborate.
I'm in. I think it's my 5th Ludum Dare. I'll be using C++ and SFML and GIMP for graphics
New to Ludum dare but excited. Can't wait to participate!
