The combination of my laptop dying and my desktop computer being put away temporarily means that playing other people's games is limited dramatically at best and impossible at worst.

Sorry, that I didn't post anything after the start of the Play+Rate phase. I've been quite busy, but I will still work on my game. I can't say when right now and how long it will take, I have to look much up and figure stuff out so that everything works, plus I want to put way more in, in gameplay and art stuff ^^

I've been really busy lately and I haven't rated any games so far. I've got a list of about 20 that I'm going to go through starting tomorrow and leave some good feedback for you guys :wink:
That said I've noticed a few people who have left comments without giving a rating, and some who have left generic comments. I know this is not news for some, but I'm going to take this as an opportunity to tell you how I handle this: I will not rate the games of those who don't mention something specific about my game in their comment, or who did not leave a rating. It's a bad practice and isn't in tune with the spirit of Ludum Dare.
You've probably heard all this before (it comes up almost every jam), but it's an important point that sadly a good amount of people seem to miss. Also, don't forget to reward the people who do leave good feedback by clicking the :heart:, it improves their game's smart ranking and makes them feel good on the inside :smile:

I really like the playing and rating period of Ludum Dare. It's great to see what other people come up with and it's really inspiring to see so many great games that were done in such a short time. Also, I just really like playing games, and many of the entries for the jam/compo are the best kind of games - short and sweet, make their point quickly and do not overstay their welcome.
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to share some of the great games I saw this time. I wanted to keep this short so I semi-randomly selected 7 games of the ones I really liked this time. There are tons of other games I really liked but are missing from here. In any case, I'm sure there are also tons of awesome games I haven't played yet, so please share more recommendations in the comments :)

Is anyone else getting really uneven ratings for some weird reason. I have 20 in all my categories except for graphics, which for some reason has 21. I don't know why someone decided to only rate graphics but I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar thing?

Disassemble useless parts of the ship into matter to shoot enemy spaceships and restore gaps in hull of the spacecraft. Turrets have limited range! If you can’t hit an enemy try another turret!
