I want so much to make it to the compo, but there's so much more to do...

Didn't make that much progress in here. Spent a LOT of time watching tutorials on level generation, camera and AI, so I'm in a tough spot here, but I'll keep going!
Thinking about a title for the game, but couldn't come out with something interesting, so the temp title is "Canisters" for now. ;)
I have some basic gameplay, with support for X360 controller! :D Now, gotta think about cutscenes! Anyone knows a good way to make RPG-style text dialogs in GameMaker for reference?

Thanks and Good Luck! :D
Someone "programing on a calculator" and only hardcore Russian boys write specs on abacus!
I have been a bit struggling since this is my first try to make something that actually works and after nearly giving up for not being able to solve one of my intended core mechanics I had that 'oh, should have thought of that earlier' kind of moment, which gave me a little bit more motivation. That being said, I will hopefully be able to finish the game for jam tomorrow.
+ added a death screen

I'm getting there, but at this point it's looking more like a prototype than a "game".

Ahhh.... After a long 2 days work my game is finished.
Check it out here! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/zombie-rush
Hi guys,
We spent 48 hours, trying to do the best as possible to create a game which can be played by everyone.
We do not know what really happens into DEEP, but we will try to bring a good player experience !
Hope the best for everyone ! :D
Cheers

New site logged me out every time I tried to submit and now just can’t view the page! What to do?
What a difference 24 hours make! It actually looks somewhat playable.

Next on the TODO list: add the teammate's models. Farewell, Unity cubes!
Streaming on twitch.tv!
Last share before the end of the Jam, I hope you'll enjoy it.

That was a wonderful weekend! Although I had some appointments on Saturday and Sunday I managed to finish my game Power lines down! in time.

You have to reestablish the power lines from power plants to the city before the city is out of energy!
You can play the game here: https://thaaks.itch.io/powerlinesdown
and rate the game on it's LD page: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/power-lines-down-1
Have fun and good luck with your own games!

My second attempt and first entry to LDjam. This time i managed to finalize and publish game!
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/hive-attack - here you go!
I mean, the game looks promising, to say the most. But I've spent most of the time trying to come up with an idea so I have to finish the entire game quickly. Anyways, this is how the game looks so far:

Not much but I've programmed the ship to my liking and I've started doing procedural generation for the planets. I hope it turns out well.
Good luck everyone! :relaxed:

I go to bed now :grinning:

I'm going on vacation for a week starting on Monday, so sadly, I can't play any levels or reply to comments. However, I think the rating lasts 2 weeks so maybe I'll have enough time to rate all of your amazing games. Good luck, everybody!
I only have to add victory conditions, and the game will be fully playable!
Published my game just a little bit ago, https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/maybemypresident Basically the idea is to stay in the presidents seat for as long as possible without angering or killing everyone!
I think I did quite well for myself considering I only used 24 hours due to having to get up for class the next day :)
