I have to say this has been an extremely productive LD for me! I was able to get a basic gameplay loop that actually kinda works as well as some 3d modelling and voice overs! (Yes, my voice is in the game. shudders)
Now all that is really left to do is write up some instructions and post.
The basic premise is you control a galactic civilization that relies on consuming whole stars for their energy source! So you as the player send Harvester ships out to nearby stars to strip them of their energy. But stars only have a limited amount and eventually you will see yourself surrounded by a lot of empty stars unless you Inhabit other stars in the process.
It's really a game about expansion and trying to manage your energy resources.
Anyways, here are some screens to show off the game a bit. Good luck with the rest of the compo you all!

(Also, I need a name! So far I've been calling it "Power Insufficient" but that's lame... lol Open to suggestions!)
Hi guys,
You're into a submarine, chased by Cthulhu. All your mates dead, and your battery is broken.
You have a choice to make : Breath (and be killed by Cthulhu) or Move the ship and suffocate

Please watch us trying to do the best ! :D

Hope the best for all of you !
Team
I started working on graphics.

Hey everybody ! Still one day to go !
This is the first post of our game :
Working on a spaceship drama and here is the team !
Some elements of BG coming up ! :D
Finally I participated in a Ludum Dare event, this was my first one. It has been a fantastic experience and I am exhausted. My game is called "Night of the Unholy" and here is the description:
"
You just woke up in the middle of nowhere. The darkness is crawling up on you and the only protection you have is your powered warehouse and your lovely weapons. Try to stay alive while banishing the unwelcomed forsaken and powering your generators.
"

The game is not the greatest and it might not be creative, but I have learnt a lot about OOP and polymorphism. Try it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/night-of-the-unholy Remember! Don't hate, just rate.
Controls:
W,A,S,D to move.
F to interact.
Space to jump.
Ctrl to crouch.
Instructions: Find the Lightswitches and interact with them to gain = more power to reach = to the end. Don't let your power level go down all the way. Find the key to go on to the next level.

That there is a little teaser of the overall goal and backstory. There will be many twists and turns I promise.
I'm quite happy of the progress so far. It still looks more or less the same as yesterday, but the third day will allow me to really make it shine.
That is the plan at least.
Hey guys, Pedro and Matheus here, were are almost finishing the game, i hope i can do this by the end of the compo! i hope all of u who saw my lasts posts are hopefull too... let me show u a few more

sorry for my bad english and good luck to u all!
Been hard at work on my Jam game which is still untitled. I didn't post anything yesterday cause I worked all day.
COMPLETE: * Space station is fully mapped. Shuttle and player spawn location are in place. * AlienWrithingMassOfOrganisms spawns properly, always off-screen, and only on valid tiles * It also spreads gradually over time, and new instances can appear off-screen * Colliding with AlienWrithingMassOfOrganisms is deadly * Doors can be welded shut and bashed open with proper collisions set. * You can RUN with SHIFT!
KNOWN ISSUES: * AlienWrithingMassOfOrganisms does not interact with doors properly. It currently acts like they're walls, always. It should remove opened or busted doors, and it should attempt to bash down sealed doors. It needs to also not kill itself as it tries to do this.
TO DO: * Collectables still need to be implemented fully. Will create a new tile that can be placed on the map in places to act as a spawn location for items. * UI for welding fuel, shuttle energy, and carried power cell needs to be constructed. * Need sound (plus mute key) * Needs title screen & controls overview screen * Complete the win condition: adding enough power cells to the shuttle
Submitted and uploaded to itch.io!

Long time lurker, first time poster!
So as I said in previous post, I started way to late (like at 11PM of the 1st day) and didn't have much time this day either so I am, sadly, dropping out. Good luck to all of you!

Here's a concept art for the cards:

And here's the game so far:

I managed to go quite a bit though my list though, but AI and Graphics need much more time that I have.

And here is the character with scenery

Welp, I said I was going to make a satirical social game, and it's a ton of effort just trying to put the server up. It looks like I will not meet the Compo deadline, but there's always the Jam. No shame in that.

It's done. only 3 hours for sleep before going to work. :')

My map is finally done YAY!!! Now for the last day of the Jam I'll be working on gameplay, UI, and maybe sound if I have time. That's all! (all assets made by myself)
Most of the scripting parts I've done yesterday and today. Now I have to concentrate on the visual stuff and sounds. :D
