I made a rhythm game for this Ludum Dare. Here it is!

In this post-jam edition, songs can include held and slid notes. A new song has been added (featured in the above video!), plus a short, easy level to help familiarize the controls.

I'm still a bit short on ratings. If you check out my game and leave a comment, I'll check out yours!

That's right! A smattering of bugfixes and some improved features.

• Fixed the moving obstacles freaking out when they intersect with a bubble
• Adjusted hitboxes slightly to fix a few things that felt unfair
• Improvements to Endless Mode generation. Still not perfect, but a lot better.
• Adjusted camera position slightly upwards
• Minor adjustment to the mode selection screen
• Winning the game should now take you back to the mode selection screen after some time
• Added A/S/D control support
• Added Mouse control support. This means the game ought to be playable on mobile browsers than can run the game in the first place.

I finally got the timelapse of our livestream from making Shoulda, Coulda but Didn't completed and uploaded, and I'm happy to now share it with all of you.

The video covers our entire livestream - foibles and all - so you'll see us writing the dialog for the game's popular voice overs, our ongoing struggles with car control, me developing the volcano that is almost never visible, the arrival of the Franken-Pizza, our way-too-late bug testing, and the time that I forgot my screen was the one we were currently showing, so I started absentmindedly doodling random stuff while Will (@floata-1) told a very long and somewhat confusing story.

We've received great comments and thank everyone who played Exocharge Infinite (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/exocharge-infinite). We wish we had more time to play and rate other games but its tough using only cellphone internet (times are tough :P).

In summary we've learn't a lot from this Ludum and aim to take the game forward in development with the aim of a potential indie release sometime next year. Lookout for Karnage Studios ;).
