This is my 6th Ludum Dare!
I dislike all themes (lol) but I'll try to do my best with Unreal Engine !!
Assuming health permits, I'll try to implement a theme-appropriate game in HLSL. Not sure how something like "1 HP" would work with cellular automata (1 HP per cell?), but hopefully it'll be something that works with millions of agents, like :ant: or :milky_way:.

Hello guys. I know IRC is the main choice and all but since LD36 we have been growing a Ludum Dare discord and I though I’d share here.
So why discord?
Its better looking, very easy to use, more thing to do/ use, and you can easily share images, files, etc without going through an external file host/ image host.
We always have fun every discord with fun challenges fun role system during LD for you to move up. and a lot of people to help you with questions and share opinions.
We have a Ludum Dare bot where you can check the time till the next LD so you wont miss it! and a snail racing bot that is near and dear to me its my baby and super fun.
We also always start the Google DOC for sharing ideas that eventually makes it way to everyone but the discord sees it first as well as a section in the server to share ideas and showcase your work.

*breathes in*I've done 11 LDs but haven't managed to finish one since LD31. I'm using Construct 2, Pyxel and this generator to "make" music and hopefully my meds don't make me randomly tired! Peace! *breathes out*

Its just over an hour until show time and I have no idea what to expect! Going to participate in the Compo for the first time. I'll be using Unity as my engine, Gimp for textures, FLStudio for music and sfxr for sounds. I might use Blender if I decide to go the 3D route but I doubt it. Most of the themes left me a bit clueless so here's hoping that its a good one...Good luck to everyone competing!
This is my first Ludum Dare, I use Godot for the engine, Renoise for music, Paint.NET and Piskel for graphics. This should be good.
My first ever Ludum Dare, or GameJam for that matter. Always wanted to make a game, always been too lazy to do it! I have not the slightest clue what I'll make in the 72 hours, but I'm looking forward to seeing all the awesome stuff that other people make!
I'll be using plain old JavaScript, because I'm too lazy to learn how a compiler works.
