Loopy Dungeon is a tower defense where the path you take at the beginning of each wave is the path you will be on for the rest of that wave!

If you got some time you should definetly try to escape the lost woods.
Good luck, only a few succeed.

Old system was not allowing to move multiple objects at the same time, which was pretty hard to handle and caused strange behaviours. And with that done, we can now work on new levels !
You must deliver resources to all the train stops before the Factory overheats while trying not to hit your own train. Can you handle the pressure!? How high can you score??

I am really loving Ludum Dare. I don't feel that my game is polished at all but I have still gotten lots of great feedback. Thanks everyone! It was my first time participating but I'm here to stay.

This was my first Ludum Dare, and it was a great experience. Mike and the rest of the community are awesome for allowing this platform. It's rare to get feedback for anything you do in life consistently, and it's pretty much guaranteed as long as you play others' games, which was the best part anyway.
IMO if you managed to finish a game that is even 1/4 playable, that has some semblance of graphics, and you had the audacity to put it in front of other people, you won the event. People that place highly just won a little harder.
Things I've learned for next time:
-If you're going to get anything right with your game, probably first and foremost you should not disorient the player.
-I learned I don't have a preference for 2D vs 3D whatsoever when it comes to enjoying others' games. Or for a genre.
-If you are a one-man or one-woman band, and especially if you don't have any assets or want to make some on the fly, you should probably enter the Compo. Your game might not be quite as good as if you spent another 24 hours on it, but you might feel better about it comparatively. People with teams are simply going to make better, more polished games and they deserve/require more feedback.
-I always appreciated, and never resented, when people made updates to their Jam games. I want to play your game at its best. Especially if you just needed to tweak a float or something, it really doesn't corrupt the spirit of the event for me. The Compo is different, obviously.
-As long as someone isn't hateful or disrespectful (which I literally never saw and hope didn't happen), they should get Karma. Playing your game and giving you any comment is pretty respectful to begin with.
-I do appreciate reading your Post Mortems, and hearing about your experiences. Keep 'em coming

(I wouldn't recommend it, but you can get stuck yourself at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/the-magic-hat)
Hi, we are nearing 20 ratings with our horror demo.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the monster and the game!
