A wheely good use of the theme?

Give Hammy the Hamster a go, see if you can beat our 1:58 record!

Hi you out there reading this. :)
Since a few people actually downloaded my game which I didn't really expect, I thought to myself that I'd port my little game to Linux and Mac OS. So yeah.... If you want to try it out if you haven't you can do that here.
I just wanted to thank you all out there for taking some time out of your day and playing my game.

We submitted our game on time Monday night, and all seemed well. Until a couple of days later a commenter asked why she couldn't vote on Graphics, and we realised the horrible truth: in the rush to submit, I had mangled the categories, and accidentally removed Graphics, so my teammate wasn't going to get a score for their hard work making original sprites and backgrounds for the game.
There's no way to edit that part of a submission, so I had to send an email to the administrator (https://ldjam.com/contact). After a bit of back and forth we got it fixed, for which I am eternally grateful (Mike is a hero), but the real lesson is: prewrite your submission and double-check it after agreeing which categories you're entering for!
Unfortunately the late addition of the Graphics category means it's a lot of votes behind the others and still needs a few more to get a score, so if you have a moment feel free to drop by and take a look at our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/express-without-remorse
(feel free to skip Sound, however)
And the winner is... *drumroll*
JK all the games I played were unique in their own way, and I'm really overwhelmed with how much cool games get made in LD.
If I were to mention one game in the "trains and loops" category (apparently lots of people made games about trains), I'd recommend you play Hyperloop!
Congrats to @onkel-mo, @duke, @eweren, @m2u-84, @bastian, @leeloo, @mrpoopybutthole, @byzanth, @kayahr, @pushking, @headcr4sh, @kuri, @zeenyoga, @thecoconutdream, and @very-dark-lord for an awesome game. Just realized how big the team is! How do you guys collaborate? We need tips!

Bux fixed: Now you can aim down using the down arrow or pointing your right trigger down.
Give it a try at: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/loopertary
Come have a great time with us! Playing and streaming your Ludum Dare game!

To keep in spirit of LD, I've published source code of my entry.
You can find it following same link to the game
(feel free to play and rate, if you haven't yet ;)

Code quickly become messy during the jam, so parts will be rewritten for post-LD version

Thanks to everyone who has rated our game and provided valuable feedback! We really appreciate each and every comment that is made  Roller Riches is an incremental game where your goal is to build a roller coaster that coaxes poor suckers (your guests) out of their money.

We're going to redesign and rebuild this game from the ground up as a side project, with a focus on adding more traditional incremental game mechanics (prestige, multiple currencies, an actual semblence of balance, etc). If you have any suggestions for how we could develop Roller Riches into a fuller incremental game, let us know!
Please feel free to post your game, and I will check it out! If you're interested and haven't given Roller Riches a try yet, please check it out here

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend :)
I'm Str0nkyK0ng, the lead programmer at Breakfast Games, and creator of the Ludum Dare submission "Loop"!
So far the public response to Loop has been super positive, and with your help, I'd love to further develop it
That is why I have decided to host a small kickstarter to raise funds to expand the game!

So I solo-made this little 2D frenetic circular platformer called ‘Counterclockwise’ for this edition and it’s playable in HTML. Check it out!

(Check out the second link to Newgrounds also please someone tell me how to decrease the screenshot sizes)
After receiving feedback, I added the following features for the post-mortem version on Newgrounds -
* A common feedback I received was how it doesn't encourage the player to leave the safe zone. The safe zones are intentionally placed in the game to allow the player to breathe, so instead of removing them I added a streak multiplier so players who act fast and think on their feet are rewarded.
* If you login to Newgrounds, you'll see a button that shows you the leaderboard for the difficulty you're playing in on the game over screen (hopefully). It was the first time I've used the Newgrounds API and it was a nice learning experience.
* Also minor bug fixes, though nobody mentioned them.
Tired of not leveling up? Want to get lots of currency? Try my game "Hold A to Win" here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/hold-a-to-win
I crafted an v2 of my ludum dare game with the feedback i got.
if you haven't seen it, i think you should. I've put 2 links, one with the jam version and one with the fixes. You can also check the huge differences btween them.

the best part for me and for others who have tried it, is the "new mechanic" implemented in it. what do you think?
Have you played our game yet? According to 23/24 people, it's definitely worth it! Check it out here!
Pillars of Anguish is a mildly novel spin on a platformer. Death isn't what you're used to, and you don't need to hit ultra tight movement combos, but there is a new mechanic that we think might interest you.

This is a game we created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam. The theme is “Stuck in a loop”.
You play Dolen. A young man who has started a new job and moved into a new apartment. The game shines a spotlight on the issue of balancing work life and personal life. Having less energy from work lowers our motivation to do things for ourselves which can ultimately affect our personal lives but work lives as well.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken their precious time to play my game, rate it and provided feedback on it!
Try it in Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.godotengine.iloop

After talking to a wall called itch.io, the last week with a support team that refused to even send a reply back, and spending more hours than I care to admit reading locked threads on the unity and itch forums... I went hunting for a webGL Unity solution that WASNT itch.io. WOW wow WOW, simmer.io was easy, had no upload size limit, works well in chrome. I will be using this platform going forward.

I hope this blog post helps someone in their next jam or endeavor, giving them an option to host online without being forced to use a site with an arbitary file size limit and a TERRIBLE support team.
So if you want to play our game on the web, head over to simmer(link below). Although changes weren't made to the project, this should not in any way be considered an offical entry (the resolution change on the webGL build increased the mouse sensitivity which people had issues with, and some of the glitch/post processing effects we used in our dream sequences did not translate into the webGL build). Please download the file from itch, linked on our ldjam.com page, if you plan on rating the game. Happy gamemaking party people!
