Hamster Loop 2020

Here's a Post-Dare update - it didn't help scrapping the first days work after creating a horrendously complicated system to do some very simple things ( and trying to do player AI ).

Apologies if I've not played so many this compo, I'm in the same boat as a lot of you I guess and trying to find work in an increasingly difficult environment! I'm going to make sure I've played and rated before the compo ends!

Play the Post-Compo version here : https://johnnysix.net/games/HamsterLoops/

TIME TO LISTEN TO OUR SOUNDTRACK, BABEY

Among all the positive feedback we've got for TIME TO DANCE! We read a lot about the music created for the game. So maybe it's time to talk a bit about its creator!

All the sounds/musics for our games are made by Sacha Mathelet since early 2020. His talent combined to his passion for video games and interactive material are what made him instantly part of the savvy community journey. He also has a weird passion for seals, but that's a story for another time.

It's still time to shake on TIME TO DANCE! if you haven't already (seriously?) ❤️

Cheers from savvy community

My entry which is inspired by "among us" got an expanded version

my entry "Beanstronauts" which is similar to "Among us" is now on Itch.io and the Google Play Store with an expanded version including new map and cosmetics, I also reworked some of the parts of the game players complained about in the game jam version, you can play the game in my page https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/beanstronauts

NOTE: If you want to rate the game please play the game jam version instead

I also made a Dani-style dev-vlog about making this game:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3giKp-W-YOE

I spent 3 weeks making all of this, but hopefully it pays off.

thanks everybody for playing my game!

Ragtime Loop!

Well, I resisted posting a self-promotion till now, but I guess I'll join the bandwagon, heh. I am seriously considering properly implementing our game, Ragtime Loop, as a full fledged game, but it would be amazing to get some proper constructive criticism on the game from people. We've gotten past the 20 vote threshold, but unfortunately the comments have not really provided much insight into how to really improve the game. If you have the time, it would be awesome to get some more feedback! If you do so, I'll do my best to try and play your game as well.

Ragtime Loop is an admittedly ambitious game that attempts to blend the mechanics of Crypt of the Necrodancer with that of Spelunky (I had Spelunky on the mind during the theme reveal, and moving to a musical loop seemed like a good fit to the theme). Play it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/ragtime-loop - HTML 5 build only.

Thanks!
