Geckoo1337 was here

As Ludum Dare is coming to a close in a few hours, respectfully I want to thank you for everything. Again this session was great. I think sincerely that I did something interesting even if I didn’t appreciated immediately the main theme – you are the monster. I planned on another theme – something else, but the game is the game. However I have 66 votes – it’s good enough. There have been some really great games in this Ludum Dare session and you will agree with me that it’s been pleasant, playing and rating them during the last few weeks. Now it’s time to evaluate a few projects before the end, waiting final results. I wish you the best for the future. Bye my friends ++

Escape from the Bunker

Bunker

So as to win the october challenge I must sell one copy of my game – a little FPS in a randomized maze. I finished, fixed and released my project on Itch.io – also you can download all games which are on my page for free (see others by clicking the link at the bottom of the page – View all by Geckoo1337). By waiting the next LudumDare, I have did something from an old project. I hope to receive just one buck for what I have did so as to validate my participation. See you later for the next LD session. My friends – I wish you the best ++

Escape from the Bunker

October challenge ends

Bunker

Hi folks! The october challenge 2015 ends in twelve hours and I didn’t earn THE dollar which could be enough so as to validate my participation. More than hundred views on Itch.io, more than forty downloads and nothing has been earned. So you have the opportunity to make my day. My games are available for free on Itch.io and you can name your own price for it – give me one buck and I pray for your soul :)

Escape from the Bunker is a little FPS. You are in the middle of nowhere, trying to escape from this place, fighting against many cute enemies. Find into these randomized bunkers the exit – the blue light. Time plays against you. Your main weapon is able to attract skulls and throw it so as to do some damage on your enemies. The golden skull is the best way so as to kill them. Try it if you dare. I wish you the best. See you later ++

Escape from the Bunker

PS : Finally I did a release for Linux which is available on Itch.io

October challenge – last post

Bunker

Unfortunately I didn’t earn THE dollar which could be enough so as to validate my participation. More than three hundred views on Itch.io, more than one hundred downloads and nothing has been earned. However I know now that I did a mistake so as to confirm my PayPal account on Itch. I fixed it. So you have the opportunity to make my day. My games are available for free on Itch.io and you can name your own price for it – give me one buck and I pray for the salvation of your soul :)

The Seed (or Empty Sky)

After one day, I am very happy seeing the first visual and gameplay of my project – a little game called The Seed or Empty Sky (I don’t know which one is the best). I need to work hard so as to increase aesthetic and mood. However, and for the first time, I have something – which seems to me solid – before sleeping. I added a funny GravityGun, a platform control and many other features. I hope that all is good for you as for me. I wish you the best. Bye friends ++

The Seed

The Seed is available

Hi folks. I did a little platform game for this 34th LudumDare session with a cute aesthetic and a quiet mood. For this project I used Unity (code C#), Gimp, SFXR for the sounds and SoundTrap for the music. I am very proud because I think that I did something really fun – even if this game is really hard. Please try it. I wish you the best and see you later friends ++

For this project I developed my scripts using Unity (code C#), Gimp, SFXR for the sounds and SoundTrap for the music. I am very proud because I think that I did something really fun – even if this game is really hard. Please take a look, then write some words – your feelings. Of course, I will test your project. I wish you the best and see you later friends ++

Jump on them so as to reach the next island. If you dare, try it. I wish you the best and see you later friends ++

Thank you my dear friends for your vote. You have allowed to me to do my best score since I participate to Ludum Dare (414). I am very happy to see that my game received a honorable rate on the Innovation section (137). This is for me a great encouragement so as to continue the work. With your advices I know how The Seed could be improved with other features. This LudumDare session was for me the best since I started. I wish you the best. See you later ++

Geckoo says – I’m in !

As usual I will develop my game on Unity. I hope that the theme will be interesting. Whatever happens, I know that this LudumDare session will be gorgeous with many many many good projects. I wish you the best friends. Are you ready?

PS : take a look on my Itch.io page to see my previous projects ++

Brain Required

This is my entry for the 35th LudumDare session – an abstract puzzle game. As a tutorial, the five first levels explain all about the elementary mechanics in order to progress in the game. I hope that you enjoy. I used some interesting material shaders in order to dissolve/recompose some colored artifacts. I focused on the aesthetic and mood. A computer voice assists the player during the game. However, if you don’t like puzzle games, you can just take a look on a video which shows us all levels – some walkthrough. Please, give me a feed back. I wish you the best. See you later friends ++

BrainRequired – the Post Jam version

Hi folks. Have you tested my game? Not yet? I have 51 votes – good enough. Recently I did a post jam version of my abstract 3d puzzle game. There is now another gameplay which is really different, regarding the previous. If you have played with my game which I posted as a jam project, you could try this one – more levels, more features, more joy… I did only a standalone package for Windows. I would like to read some feedback so as to increase its interest. Don’t forget that this game is still under development. I wish you the best. Thank you ++

BrainRequired – new Post Jam version

I decided to continue the development of my game BrainRequired. I did a new release which contains more levels and features than in my previous project. However you can always test and rate the original on LudumDare. I noticed 65 votes and many positive comments – thank you my friends. I hope that you like this game. Don’t forget “this cake is a lie”. I wish you the best, by waiting the final results ++

Original project for the 35th LudumDare session is here :)

This is the end – beautiful friend :)

Hi folks. Soon we get results about what we have done during these last three weeks. Don’t forget that the most important is sharing – not the first places. I thank you for your feedback and rates (77). It was just wonderful to participate at the 35th Ludumdare session with you. Now I am continuing the game development, trying to increase its gameplay and aesthetic. Maybe, you have not seen my project among others. However, if you want to try BrainRequired – a 3d puzzle game, take a look on this page. I wish you the best. Have a nice day ++

Smudge

Color is a dimension. Color is light. At first, Smudge is a pictorial and phonic awareness experience – an artistic work which plunges its audience in a strange aesthetical universe. In light of these considerations, also Smudge is a splatter-platformer-puzzle game in which you must find your way in black rooms – without any light – by projecting paint on walls, floor/roof and interactive artefacts which lead you to the exit. You are blind. Spread colors so as to shape surfaces. Play with perspectives, contours and sounds in order to reach the exit. For a best experience, a headphone is required.

Smudge is on GreenLight. Please support it. Thank you ++

Azymuth

Ok. I think that I can take a break, regarding what I have done today. I have spent many hours to create a dynamic sky so as to display a pretty mood. So I am developing a speed-platformer game in an ancient world – an vanished civilisation who knew how to built a city up in the sky. You must enable many artefacts – as quickly as possible. I use a free scoreboard online in order to allow a challenge. Tomorrow I will work on aesthetic and map. Have a nice day – friends. See you later ++

Azymuth

Azymuth

Azymuth is my entry for the LD36 event. A vanished civilization, using its mighty technology, was able to build some temples in the sky. Today this place becomes a challenge which only a brave runner could complete. Are you this one?
