My first #LD48. I’m using GameMaker: Studio, GIMP, LMMS (and possibly Audacity), and maybe sfxr, and dafont.com. I doubt I can complete a game in 48 hours, but what the hay. Gonna give it a whirl.

I was watching AtomicVikings (metaldemon) llivestream a bunch of live plays of Ludum Dare games today.  Now I want to livestream, but I haven’t figured out how yet.  However, I will do the next best thing.  I will live chat with you as I play the game. ( Well, maybe it’s not the next best thing, but hay, it’s something. lol)  Anyway, find me here — https://chatbox.com/#/p=37IWBvYRvRI=A-2-WnDtHXdIa4ifldlOxPn3WHY= — at 5:00 am UTC (2 hours from now), or so.  I’ll be there for a couple of hours tonight.   If it goes well, I’ll do more tomorrow, too.

Don’t know if I can, but I want to.  Count me in, but don’t count on anything any good, completed, or even started.  lol!  I hope I have the time to join.  This would be my second Ludum Dare.  So, I’m in!…. maybe.

Oh, since it looks like the thing to do, I’ll mention that if I do join in I’ll be using:

  • GameMaker: Studio
  • GIMP
  • Audacity (altho I will probably use freely available premade sounds and music)
