Finally I got an Idea (my turn to say this ^^)

I struggled so much to find something that I decided to first build a room on unity, and then see how I’d like it to behave and what story I would tell to myself.

I wanted to get out the walls ! I wanted it to be interactive, and to change.

Hello all!

The Guy in the Room is a game that tells the story of a guy. I wanted to show that a room can tell the story of someone, by viewing all the states of the same room, across times.

I really wanted to speak about addictions, so I made that each room speaks about each kind of addictions one can have.

The gameplay is quite simple: find the origami in each room to build the stair you see when you are crossing times.

PS: I really hated what I have done, but all my friends are positive about it, so.. you know, tell who’s wrong: them or me

We added a coloured trail behind the "car" of our game to feedback the quantity of each Fuel you have left.

And Maaan. It makes a coool rainboooww! :)

Hello all LDJamers!

One more ludum for us! After an usual "damn this theme is tough", we finally came up with an idea:

You play as a parent of a broke family and struggle to have enough money to feed your children.

With this idea came the wish of showing how tough lfe can be for some parents by making a game in wich you have to act as the worst kind of parent.

Unlimited birth

Each day comes a new little kido. You can stop this flow only by buying condoms. Nothing's free...

Your children don't obey?

Slap 'em!

Not enough time to clean the house in one day?

Make them do it! You will be quickly overwhelmed with all the things you need to do for them.

Too much children to feed?

Feed only the bests of them.

Your children have stats (RPG style) which drive you to decide which one deserves to be fed and cared.

They have satisfaction gauges that you need to fill for them not to die, and being efficient at doing their jobs.

Make money!

To earn money you can make art (your favorite hobby isn't it?) but it won't be enough. You need to send your children to work. Work? Yeah. Prostitution, streets, drugs.. but also Astronaut, if your manage to grow a children educated enough.

But never forget: their life and survival is up on you!
