I am glad that I found out about LD28 just in time and was able to devote my whole weekend to coding a game. This was my first LD48 and I really enjoyed it. Not only just making the game but idling on IRC with an enthusiastic group of people and doing the time-lapse thing was really enjoyable. I am also very exhausted.
Here is a screenshot of the game I am submitting:

It’s a very simple game, implemented in JavaScript with HTML5/Canvas.
I learned near the end of the compo that its customary to create EVERYTHING from scratch, including sounds. So, in accordance with this, I redid all the audio so that everything was original. Some of the sounds suffered, namely the pistol-cocking sound; it just doesn’t sound as good as the original freesound.org clip. But some things improved, such as the music. I created the music in FL Studio and it turned out pretty well and I enjoy it now.
Anyways, thanks to everyone behind LD48 and to all fellow game-makers for making this competition fun and worthwhile. Looking forward to rating other peoples’ games!
