I’m in! First LD!
Excited for this! Working on a platformer with a fun twist! We will see how it goes!

I did it! My first LD, and I did it all by myself (next time I’m getting a team). After 72 hours, lots of chips, and lots of whatever you call writer’s block for programmers (coder constipation?). Finally. My game is a shapeshifting platformer. Check it out!
Just wondering what software people use to record their screen and make gifs. I haven’t had any luck with the ones I’ve tried. Let me know what one you guys use!

Have you checked out my entry yet? It’s a shape-shifting platformer. Trying to get some last votes! This was my first LD and I had lots of fun!
Well I was all excited for this LD until I found out I had a 5 hour AP English study session tomorrow. What kind of world is this where we are required to do school on weekends! Anyways, I’m in if I get all my work done.
Using:
Unity (probably)
Gamemaker Studio (if I don’t use Unity)
Audacity for sound editing
LMMS if I get around to music making
Inkscape, Krita, and GIMP for image editing
BFXR for sound effects
Blender for 3D stuff
Good luck to y’all! Get ready to fire up your code editor’s and coffee pots!
One room huh? Well after about 20 min brainstorming I came up with what I hope is a good idea. I decided not to do a room escape game (although I really wanted to) due to way to much programming, puzzle design, and graphics. I also considered a FPS in which you are a toy soldier in a kid’s room. It might of been interesting but I couldn’t think of a way to make it work. Instead I’m going with a first person parkour speed running game… except
you can only see part of the level (to keep with the one room theme). We’ll see how it works with my limited time schedule. I’ll keep you updated! Now to go get some sleep before loading up some dubstep and getting coffee tomorrow!
Yeah guys! Im in! This is what I'm gonna be using: Engine: Gamemaker or Unity (depends on theme) Graphics: Inkscape, GIMP Sound/Music: BFXR and LMMS are usually my go to software here. I heard about some other programs so I might try something new
Hyped for this jam! Finally a weekend where I am free to participate! Good luck everyone and have fun!
