I, for certain, am in.

However, I’m not sure if my team is with me yet. This is completely last minute. Hopefully they’re down for it and we can make something awesome to share.

Good luck everyone. :)

Nightlight is Live!

Our first Ludum Dare was a success! You can find Nightlight here.

We had a lot of fun with this, and will definitely be participating next time. I was surprised at the number of the people in the area that had not heard about this. On top of that, we had a rough weekend. Lots of personal things taking up time, including my birthday yesterday. But it was great! We did it!

Getting a pure Rampage vibe from this — come to think of it, Rampage would have fit this theme *perfectly*.

Just a thought

My favorite part about the concept of people writing “post mortem” documents about what they learned, how they could do better, and how much incredible fun they had… is that it includes the word “post” in the name and is a post on this page.

Puns. 😀

Eye In The Sky Kickstarter

Hey everybody! We decided to take our game (Eye In The Sky) and push forward with a Kickstarter. We also put it up on Steam for Greenlight!

Oh, cool idea. I will probably take a look in the steam topic to help you!

Just Another Quick Share

Hey again everybody! I don’t want to spam y’all with this, but I really want to post it again because I’m so incredibly excited!

kickstarter

Our game, Eye In The Sky, is up for Greenlight on Steam.  The majority of the work for it is already done (we’re apparently fast workers) and we have a lot of changes and improvements to what you played in the Ludum Dare version. Since we added rudimentary controller support (for the XBox gamepad on windows only) to the LD version, we’ve really like the idea of getting the game on consoles as well. Because doing that is something like super expensive, we also started a kickstarter. Any kind of help, whether it’s sharing it with friends or backing the project would be amazing!

Now Announcing: The Darkness

Play as Clay Rick on his quest to vanquish the darkness. Shine light in to the unknowns, bring brightness to the dim, and illuminate the possibilities! Discover the source of the darkness and wrestle with phenomenal cosmic powers!

Play it here.

The Darkness

If you wanted a taste of what you’ll see if you play The Darkness, you can find it here. While the game is hard (and he might be, admittedly, slightly on the bad TIRED side), he does a great job of showing the basics.

Just a heads up, picking up multiple of the same power up DOES increase its level, BUT picking up a different one starts you at 1. Also, you can’t use your staff if you stick it in a wall, silly.

Play it here.

Balance?

Guys, the only issue we’ve had so far has been game balance. We would love to hear your feedback.

We have put in a countless number of hours working towards releasing a heavily polished, completely balanced version of our Ludum Dare 34 entry. It includes a full video tutorial, a complete rebalance of the game mechanics, fancy new images, new effects, and an extreme degree of performance enhancements.  If you enjoyed our entry this season, consider picking it up for the incredibly hefty sum of five U.S. dollars!

Trionic

I had planned on showing off an awesome gif of the character changing colors but I can’t see to find a way to optimize it without turning it to garbage.

Anyways, my birthday is in 50 minutes. You should play our game! It’s pretty friggen awesome, too. Click the “Trionic” image to go to it.
