For the first time I decided to join LD, and miniLD.

After too many time wasted on different ideas, I have choosen one to go with. Here is my first ingame screenshot (currently without player sprite), hope you like it!

If Inkscape hadn’t suddendly crashed while I was in middle of my animation drawings, I would now have full finished game.But because computers are mystery and nobody knows how do they REALLY function, I have lots of stuff that i need to do unitl deadline.

Just wanted to announce that my game 7 Days of War is submited, and I can’t wait to hear what all you think about it

Because of exames that I had today, I did not start right away, but i hope that i will finish game in time for compo! Here are first looks of characters, an after I get some sleep, there will be first gameplay screenshots!

Basic gameplay animations are done, only thing left is to make city where battles for beer take place!

I am so proud that I got to finish my game, although I had little over 24h to do it, because my exams. The game is not polished, and in general lacks juicing, but these are things that will be done, as soon as voting is complete

Thanks everyone for awesome ludum dare! For me this LD was more chaotic than the last one, all thanks to exams that I had. Never the less, I think that enjoyed it more like this. With only 24 hours to make game (because I had exams same day LD started), I gave everything I got, and I am proud what I finished. Game wasn’t polished, had several bugs, and didn’t have deep story, like my last entry (7 Days of War), but i think that I did it better then last december.

I really like my idea, to get people drunk while shooting them with beer, so i turned my 2D game in 3D voxel environment. This is my first time that I used Unity 3D powers, and first time to do anything in 3D as a matter of fact. Here is the link of the new game so you could check it out.

Well I have idea what to made, have basic graphics and some scripts working. Polisihing and making things work something is my plan for tomorrow. Till then, here is gif of my progress.

I have made nice progress today, almost all scripts are finished, only bits of gamedesign and some polishing left to do tomorrow.

GAME

I uploaded debug version of the game by mistake on the site. In that version you had 10,000 dust to start with, instead 200 that I intended. I you look at the 0.1.0 version on gamejolt for windows, you will see that, but when I added scripts for main menu button that i forgot, i exported debug version.

Once again, big apology to everyone who played game untill now, because you didn’t expirience it fully!

Looking forward for this LD, I hope it will be better than last three!
