This is my first Ludam Dare and I’m very excited! 😀

Tools I’ll be using:

Engine: Unity 5.1.2

IDE: Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition.

Language: C#!!!!

Graphics: Paint.NET and OpenGameArt as well as some other websites for 3D models or such (I don’t know whether I’m making a 3D or 2D game).

Sound: Royalty Free Sound, Mixcraft 7, FamiTracker, and AudioTool.

Been working my a** off! I’m almost done my game phew.. gonna go to sleep now 😉

Sadly I don’t think my game will be completed in time but I WILL be posting it on Ludum Dare!

As a kid I used to play a lot of Wii Sports. I remember playing the bowling mini-game in Wii Sports from day to night. I remember how my shoulder got tired from swinging that WiiMote so much. So, for this Mini Ludum Dare I’ve decided to commemorate my youth by creating a bowling game inspired by Wii Sports.

For this Mini Ludum Dare I’ll be going solo! I’ll be creating the art, sound, music, programming, everything! I’m quite excited for my first Mini Ludum Dare

Hey guys!

I’m a young game developer. I’ve always had a knack for computer. When I was a really young age I remember creating a console program that would reverse a string input. I thought it was quite cool! I’ve been programming for 6 years total now that may be more than some of the adults here have. For a little over a year now I’ve been primarily focused in C# and Java, I do also know C++ and a few other high level scripting languages like Python.

Let’s get to know a little bit about me, eh. My favourite color has always been and will always be Cyan! If you haven’t noticed yet I’m from the snowy region of Canada which coincidentally it isn’t even snowing here although it is quite cold. I enjoy a multitude of games such as RPG’s but by far my favourite types of games are Simulation games such as the Sims Series, Zoo Tycoon, Kerbal Space Studio, Theme Park Studio, but my most favourite game series and probably the game series that has brought me weeks of joy is the Roller Coaster Tycoon series and I’m waiting ecstatically for Roller Coaster Tycoon World!

With Ludum Dare this week, everyone’s getting everything ready (it’s like Christmas xD) and I’d like to announce that I’m in! This will be my second Ludum Dare and this time I’ll be doing the compo instead of the jam like last time.

I’ll be using:

3. GraphicsGale and Paint.NET
4. Audacity
5. SFXR and BFXR

When the theme was first announced I wasn’t happy but after a hour and a half of thinking on stream I’ve thought of an excellent idea. I’ve decided to go to sleep early and wake up early as I’m not motivated to program right now (because I’m burned out from idea conception).

I just woke up and I’m super refreshed! Gonna begin actually developing my game (it was worth sacrificing last night for sleep!)

I’m getting back to work and at the moment, I’m working on the card system for my game. Will post screenshots soon!

I gave up on making art and just used some from OpenGameArt.

Iv’e got 7 hours to do art and music, go! I NEED A COMPO ENTRY.

I’ve decided to go with paper themed art and boy does it look nice! Gonna work on music next and then might revisit some of the animations.

As the end is nearing, I’ve began to reflect; I might actually make it!

Throughout this Ludum Dare, I’ve restarted 3-4 times already!!!!!! AND I’M GONNA MAKE IT!
