For the first time, I’ll be giving Ludum Dare a shot! Since I haven’t finished a game in a whole eight or nine months and since the vast majority of my completed games were for competitions, I figured I’d be an idiot to pass this up. This will be the fastest game I’ve ever made by at least a day and absolutely the shortest jam I’ve been a part of. But I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun, even though my precious potato lost. Rest In Peace, friend. ;_;

I can’t believe I got this done. I was working until the last thirteen minutes and I made the title, the boss, the ending screen, the boss music and the ending music in the final three hours.

My game, Potato The Destroyer is up. It’s a minimalistic run and gun platformer where you play as a potato on a mission to make his minimalistic world even more minimalistic by defeating The Crystal Potato of Destiny.

This is a game about being a monster who destroys things!

This wasn’t even a game yesterday. I had to pull an all nighter to turn it into something. I think I managed!

This is my game, Fire and Atlas! In order to find buried treasure, you need to burn your inaccurate maps and replace them with versions that better reflect the world, paying special attention to the details of each screen.

I made this over the course of three days for the jam, and spent a lot of that time at our local Nashville Game Developers Ludum Dare gathering.
