Progress

proress

What have i done so far:

Basic Physics, Player movement, basic menu, Some simple sound efects and graphics. I also added a portal thingy to get to the next level and spikes so you would be able to lose

TODO

Make a level generator(To make alot of levels), Fix bug thats says “You Won!” even if you lose, Maybe better graphics(?), Making a background to the menu.

Random Level!

progress

Because my game is kinda finished i wanted to make a random level generator so i won’t have to sit and make about 50 levels. It is kinda working… It creates a file thats the game can read and render, But it is just too much random :\

p.s. These are not all the tiles, I just have not implemented the other tiles to the generator yet

Easter Egg

Just Found out thats by mistake i forgot to remove a glitched level from the final release xD

You can only get it from a cheat code so thats won’t effect gameplay 😉

Well, I would say the first day was OK

I finally finished with making the dam collision detection and a basic map loader.

My friend finished the story and made some concept art. We hope to start the actuall game tommorow :)

Nearly done!

We finally finished implementing the basic stuff to the game, we just need to improve the graphics and make a lot of levels :)

Some pretty good progress….

So as I already posted, I am making a game in written in pure assembly (Linux/Windows x64). And I got some good progress, there is a fully working combat, turned based system, every time you go to combat you get a random enemy, and the amount of damage done is also random (from 0-max_attack) :)

It will probably won’t win first place, but I am happy I made a game in Assembly 😛

(I would show something but it is text based so there isn’t much to show)

That’s so awesome! Every time LD is around the corner I’m wondering if I should start learning assembly 😛
