This is my first Ludum Dare ever and I was invited to participate last night.  It’s too bad I didn’t have time to form a team.

I didn’t think that we were going to finish, but it’s coming along!  Will you be able to escape?

Finally came up with an idea for this theme. I'll be making a match-x game where you need to form words within a time limit. The more consonants you have, the harder it is to form words.

Sounds ambitious, but I'll give it a shot.

Starting to build the main mechanic. Green letters are letters that you have selected and red letters are possible next choices.

I'm still considering if diagonals should be valid or not.

Next step is to submit a word for validation, make the letters go poof, and have everything shift downwards.

Dictionary comparison is going to be fun, but one step at a time.

Unfortunately, I don't have any time to make a song. I sold my keyboard last week and it is REALLY hard to make a song without a MIDI device. Can anyone point me in the direction of some free 3rd party songs I can throw in for the time being?
