Have previously entered a few times as part of a crew in the jam. On my own this time!
Hoping to be finished for the Compo, but we’ll see. Just great to make something.
Using GameMaker, Logic X, stickers, macaroni, glitter, bits of fluff from behind the fridge and anything else I can find!
Have fun all and don’t drink too much coffee/taurine/magic potion or you might end up hhhnnnnnggghhhhhhh…..
I’m done! Entered this year without my usual artist partner, so I thought, if in doubt, try to be funny, try to be different.
My take on the theme is a political shapeshifter, who’ll blow with the fickle winds of public opinion to grab a few votes.
I’ll come back with a proper post mortem tomorrow I think. In the meantime, good luck everyone, well done all.

Pretty pleased for my first compo entry (I usually enter the Jam). But since I was on my own this weekend it seemed like a good opportunity to push myself. Would love to develop it more, but need to get some sleep. Great fun as always.

I'm furiously playing as many games as I can - but I'm not anywhere near the top of the list yet (I had to start playing games quite late).

I thought I would share my video post-mortem for LD38. I made this before actually seeing any reviews from players, so I might follow it up with a second, talking about people's feedback. I've had some fantastic critisims that have been really valuable.

Checking out all the people taking their LD debut preparing to have a great idea, start working on it, realise it's a terrible idea, panic, eat some pizza, realise you don't even know how a computer even works, deciding to learn how to do carpentry instead of making video games, going back to your original idea, smashing together the best thing you can in the last few hours and being quite happy with the result....
