LD33

I’m in!

I’m entering the jam.

Here is what I’ll using:

Language: JavaScript

Game engine: My own, uses HTML5 canvas for rendering

Editor: Sublime Text 3

Audio: Bfxr

Image: Photoshop

I will be live streaming on YouTube.

Day one

I managed to get a lot done today.

You are a dinosaur! The concept is similar to that of a sheepdog herding sheep. Still unsure what the object of the game will be. People are faster than you, so maybe you have to corner people to catch them. Perhaps, you aren’t the bad guy at all, maybe you have to guide them to the exit of a maze by chasing them. I’ll have to think about it.

Dinosaur

Time to sleep.

LD35

I’m in!

This is my second Ludum Dare. This time I hope to create a 3D game. I don’t have much experience using the libraries chosen, so not expecting to have a finished product but should be a good learning experience. It will be a jam entry.

Tools:

Programming language – JavaScript (ECMAScript 6)

Editor – Atom

Sound effects – Bfxr

3D graphics library – Three.JS

Image editor – GIMP

LD36

I’m in!

I’m in the Jam.

It’s my 3rd participation in Ludum Dare.

Here are a list of tools I’ll be using:

  • Editor: Vim
  • Language: JavaScript
  • Sprite editor: GIMP
  • Engine: My own + Three.JS
  • Audio: Bfxr

Calling it a Day

Sadly I wasn’t able to finish my game this time around. Feeling totally demoralised.

Hope everyone else has enjoyed Ludum Dare more than I have this time around :-)

It happens but if you have something that compiles go ahead and submit anyways. Be proud that you took a stab at it. I’ve had 2 failed ludum dare attempts and I’m finally submitting something this go around. My submission this time is nothing fancy that I wouldn’t classify as a game but you need little wins to help push you forward.
