Greetings everyone,
Just letting you all know, I will be entering a small game this weekend. It will be my first time entering Ludum Dare, so let the fun begin…
2D Unity this time depending on the theme, I will focus more on graphics this time. Looking forward to making some weird fun creation this time :). Adobe Flash for 2D Artwork / Animations. Gimp2 – Textures /Pixel Art. BFXR – Sound Effects. Pulseboy – Music (if you can call it that :)). Coding – MonoDevelop /C#, Unity 5.4.2f2. /Game Engine.
All my games can be played for free at http://www.kongregate.com/games/mrwillowb
This will be my 3rd Ludum Dare and on a special note: Today is my Birthday, so this is the greatest birthday present ever I get to make myself a game and let others play it.
I started late. Here's my progress after 5 hours. It's a hybrid endless runner/idle clicker with upgrades
So another ludum dare has kept upon me yet again. My last effort was sad this time around more arcade action in in the pages. No idea as usual where this journey will lead me will I end up making another clicking upgrade game I hope not. My goal is to make something fun. Look cool and be easy. I might end up doing 3d this time I think simple 3d looks better than simple 2d. I enjoy all the theme choices this time round but as usual it will be my least favourite. I normally get a vague idea that works with all themes then refine my idea as I make it. I don't plan on design a document I just go gun Ho and make it up as I go along. It's normally why I fail but I enjoy the thrill of trying as my favourite part of game design is starting a project. I'll be using unity. Blender flash and Photoshop with some sort of sound effect generator like bfxr and some crap music program. Music is my downfall. I annoy a genius coder or an awesome artist but I dabble in all aspects of game creation and I thoroughly enjoy it. Bring on ludum dare 42.
My only rule this time is to have fun making a really fun game. fail or succeed doesn't matter as long as I make something fun.
I just finished my game probably the worlds shittest game ever made.
Sorry in advance.

I always say it but this time it's true, I'm going to make something fun for you. 3d or 2d makes no difference to me, as long I have fun who cares if it's crappy. By Andy. My own theme I'm incorporating into the chosen theme is Don't Die.

In again. Definitely making something small and fun humour being the main focus this time round. Unity Flash/Photoshop/Blender bfxr some free music site like pulseboy
Sorry if my game offends anyone
Last ludum dare I made a controversial game. This time twice as much humour. Kid friendly fun. That's my plan. I have less time but I'll work twice as hard. Bring on the rush. The excitement. The pain and the glory. My goal is having no coffee. Is it even possible. Only the gods know.
Well the worst thing has happened I'm feeling like death. Will it stop me?sickness will try but I'm going to make something even if it's the shittest game ever. I'll be drinking lots of water. Design the game based around a really simple idea. Compensate by using humour and fun 2d graphics. If I die I'll be happy that I made my last game.
Can people list some free music software to create easy music for the jam. Chiptunes. Automated procedural music. Beatrix. Any others? I always find music creation the hardest part. Comment below help us out.
Do people like Trump?

That's what she said
This is also my first time at Ludum Dare. Where did you hear about the Ludum Dare?
