Sort Me Right Out - My First Jam Entry

aqE4gYd.png

A customer sorting game made in Godot.

Every 10 seconds a new round starts, each round brings more customers to sort for your boss. Occasionally, you’ll be able to go to the shop for things to help you sort out.

Bugfix Update

  • Issue where bombs would remove all lives
  • Issue where text wasn’t centered

Thanks everyone who has played Sort Me Right Out so far!!

For my first jam and end to end game I've created, it's been lots of fun. Been an exciting jam, loads of really interesting games been submitted and learned a bunch from it.

Have a minor update to the game to resolve a bug.

Update

Fixed issue where endscreen shows all previous rounds values.

What's the limit of changes in a 'bugfix'?

I've seen a few bugfix changes here that update the balance of their games, is this alright to do? I'd like to be updating the balance of cost in my shops, spawn rates, etc... but my intereptation of bugfixing is simply fixing mechanics that didn't work!

How does everyone else interpret changes like this?

Second Jam Game! - Ol' Booty

Cover.png https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/52/ol-booty

Second game for a jam, think I went too big on the scope for this! Really fun to work on but just ran out of time to get the polish and all the features I was looking for. Went with 'Harvesting' from old pirate ships.

oKe08vG.png 2WBTUeI.png

Pirate ships are scattered around these seas. You’ve been hired by the English Royal Navy to tidy up the oceans. Sail through corpses of previous battles, harvesting their remains. Each item has a price and your ship can only hold so much. Loot all you can then scuttle. Return to the port to bank your booty.

Also, Godot 4 seems to have issues with embeding in html for both Ludum site and Itch, so will have to download the zip unfortunately.

Created a warioware style summoner for this jam!

Wanted to try something different for this, created a handful of mini games that on completed successfully, aid your tower and will attack the Goblin Man for you!

Was fun to try something different here, wish I had time to make some more mini games!! Let me know what you think!
