Something Wicked...

...this way comes! Spent the last couple of hours working on this title screen, and I'm surprisingly satisfied with it.
We're entirely too ambitious in our plans as always, but so far it's been smooth sailing.

Hello jammers,
Me and my bud are still looking for a composer for this jam, given that we are both awful at it and our usual options are busy.
You can check out our previous entries to see if you think we could be an okay fit / have the potential to work with each other, and if you are interested, hit me up on here or on discord at Peringo#6049! I usually have a certain style of music in mind depending on the idea, so depending on if you like that bit of direction or not we could work something out.
Thanks for the read, I hope everyone has a great jam!
Stoked! We've never had so much time left at this point of progress.
It's scary. As always, we scope-creeped the hell out of the idea; but we actually ended up getting almost everything in.
Biggest barrier is going to be polish and balance now.

Anybody with GameMaker experience I can message when my coder has to work? I'm scared haha
It's bold. It's brazen. It's bretty damn buggy. It's

It's a game where you plant stuff. It's a game where you fight stuff. Maybe even collect stuff and buy stuff? It's a game with images in it, and mechanics, and stuff in it. It's a game with a cut boss encounter that would have been a pumpkin, and the health also looks like Pumpkins, so you can't sue us for false advertising.
Play it, before it plays you.

We did this a couple jams ago and might as well give it another shot.

If you saw this 10 minutes ago, I apologize, second and last time we post this.

If you start rating today, why not start here? :p

It might look spooky, but there is some action in there, and no jumpscares, for fellas who care about that.
We really didn´t like the theme this time around. IMO themes should always mean something mechanically, not just for the setting, and depth was very limiting in that regard. So, we focused on doing stuff we´ve never done. Some spookiness, a little bit of shader magic, a rudimentary dialogue engine, tinkering around with random elements etc. Ultimately, one of the only "chill" gamejams we have done, and after getting over the pessimism on day 1 we are satisfied with what we put on the table!
