First time and I’m pumped!
Hey all!
After a scratched attempt in participating in LD #27 (it happened just as I was really starting to make the turn from the programming books to game design), I’ve been anxiously awaiting a go at this! I will be primarily using Gamemaker Studio and, depending on what I decide to make, I may use some scripts from my earlier games as models, but I’m not going to be directly copying anything. I’ll be using content generators, GIMP, and MidiEditor where/if needed.
I doubt I’ll be able to do anything too spectacular on my first go at this, but my goal is to successfully complete and submit something that I can be proud of, regardless of how well it does. I’m hoping to surprise myself, though!
I’m paranoid that I’m going to accidentally break a rule somewhere here, but I suppose the best course of action is to just go full steam ahead and see what happens!
Game on!

Quick edit: Forgot to say I’ll be deploying a basic standalone .exe with my source. I’m going to save web deployment and things like that for the future, when I’m hopefully a bit more experienced at finishing projects than I am at starting them XP
