Mr Moneybags demands food!

We are on our way with the initial planning process. We have settled on a combination of themes and are figuring out the base mechanics and tone of the game. Stay tuned for more updates

We have a rough idea on how a basic level will look. You will have to run around to the different areas to collect materials and food to impress Mr.moneybags.
Brawling man-sized carrots and cooking the perfect dish will be the main focus of this game.

Anthropomorphic dinner foods and condiments are teeming in this magical world, but Mr.moneybags cares not for the sentience of these cute buggers.

We have a working flamethrower, huzzah!
Plus a peek of the still very raw UI system we have

Ironically, the patch list is also pretty ambitious.
Blank is neutral
Red is crucial
Orange is important
Yellow is optional
Green is completed
Gray is last priority

The game is looking great! We have a much smaller scope compared to last time, but we still need to work hard to get the result we're looking for! Good luck to everyone in the competition, I can't wait to play all your wonderful and quirky games.
Here's some goof

We're adding more and more tiles for the floor, and we'll probably spend our final day level designing. We've written some music, and are recording voice lines for the game.
Here's the main menu theme:

Compared to our last game, this is a walk in the park! We're so excited to release this game tomorrow. Good luck to all the compo competitors, too!

Come try the game:
I want to get to making already! Give give give!
Our team has brainstormed ideas. We've got some fun ideas for every possible theme, but I am personally hoping for "Magic, but at what cost?". I'm not gonna share it, but I think it's a really fun idea.
That's all. Good luck to everyone!

We're working on the color scheme and such.
The base idea is down, and we're starting work on the basic mechanics now
Reinventing the wheel is my line of business.
We're really trying to get satisfying combat, unlike last time. I'm trying to get the combat to be nice and responsive, and that includes things like hitstop, visual and audio feedback, and knockback.

Other than that we've got some simple 3D models (@dj-depressive) and concept (@karin-g) done.

Loving everyone's progress I'm seeing here!
Sometimes an accidental feature is the best one

We're (@blooobird is making it) getting a cell shader ready, too. The game will look a lot better soon, I promise!
We're finally getting most of our assets in place! Now it's all about getting that stuff into the game and looking good!

Music, 2D, 3D, programming, post-processing. It's all coming to gether.
The time is 12pm here though, so I'll be going to bed. Looking forward to tomorrow!
We probably worked harder on this than we should have, but we are extremely happy with the results

Thanks to all of our wonderful teammembers for making this happen for the third time in a row, and what an exponential growth it's been! Comparing this to our first game (Which was barely playable), this is 5/5!
Of course there are bugs, of course there is polish to be applied, but we're happy to be done!

You've all heard of programmer art. Some cobbled together stuff to make sense of it all. Personally I think it's pretty cute

Our graphics actually look really good, thanks to my wonderful co-people, @dj-depressive and @karin-g
Maybe we haven't gotten that far, but beating the sense out of some red squid blobs feels really good.
This gonna be a sweet ass chunky good feelin' beat the hell out of em good good feel good game. Oh yeah that's the goal baby.
You might be wondering, "What the fuck are you doing?" and to that I respond, calmly, "Sleep deprivation". "Oh" you respond, not really suprised at the fact, but more with that you did not think of it yourself
