Yo! Yo! Greets!

My first time here. Pretty exited. Taking the compo this year. Ready to rock some rolls and aram barabum! If you know what I mean.

Tools: Programing - Definetely Godot Sound and Music- Most likely Reaper Graphics - Paint.net or Aseprite or something compltely new

Wish you all the best lucks.

(Lil question: Now I'm in right? I want to be sure. Is there extra stuff I should do?)

C'mon

I think the theme is cool. Imagine how crazy it might look when everybody takes their approach

SLIGHTLY PISSED M4X

So I have this idea of mixing 4X with top down racing in a Mad Max or Convoy esque style. I just loved this idea so much so I want to try it even tho, it is way out of my league.

The basic ideas are you will control a car and have a limited viewport (so you have to navigate through the world). You can Catpture abandoned bases and produce racers with different behaviours (follower, patroller miner, etc.) And build a sweet little wasteland empire.

Love to hear your ideas on this.

Itch.io Source Code

Hey, I upoaded my games source code to itch.io but it seems there is no way for me to download it. (It just says not available for windows any ideas on it?)

Running out of space but there is plenty of Junk

Yo, this is my first time completing the compo. I've tried it before for ludum dare 41 but I wasn't even close so I feel like I've learned a lot in the months between.

junk gif.gif

In the game you control a creature that I accidentaly created while trying to achive the slime in nitrome's Slime pizza (or any other slime really). While garbage re constantly being dropped from above.

I've used Godot, Krita, Bosca Ceoil and Bfxr.

Contributions to multiple Jam Games

I'm planning to organize a Ludum Dare event in my University. The thing is every person to come will have different skills and skill levels. I was thinking it would be nice, say if a skilled artist to draw some sprites for multiple games, a good programmer to debug multiple games or someone with no experience to generate sfx with bfxr for multiple games. But I can't find the rules regulating involvement with multiple games or submiting multiple entries. I also wonder if it's okay for one to work on their compo game while contrubiting to a jam game. how flexable are the rules

I'm mean

Gonna kick some ass :D I may go with a team but maybe it's just me? Got an exam tomorrow morning then I'll start working. If it's just me, programs: Godot, Krita, Reaper... Good luck y'all, Have fun!

A good lookin Forest and Extensive platformer mechanics

ld43_forest1.gif So this has been my work so far. This is my first serious attemp to a platformer and levels with tiles and stuff. I use godot and didn't manage to use kinematic body for a platformer before. So i was like, hey let's give the 2D platformer demo a try. Then I decided to build the game on top of it's character code :D The demo already had movement and jumping tho I added dash, wallslide and wall jump to it. I'm not an artist and drawing sprites was the hardest or me, it took a lot of time to draw the tileset and at least three hours to draw the character's sprite even though I used the sprite from demo as a reference :D (drove on top of it). As for everything else visually going on they were easier. My influence for overusing particles (and parallax) layer in background and forground is Hollow Knight. I took the idea of sun coming from between leaves projecting to the world from Attack on Titan. And leaves are by krita brush presets.Krita brush presets are cool. Now only thing left in my game is additiona mechanics and levels and stuff?

Enter the Forest of Sacrifices

Check out, my first very atmospheric platformer / metroidvania and let me know wat you think about it. I think this is the most complex game I completed for a jam and it turned out to be pretty good. You can see it also in this complexity over time graph that I constructed by gathering data from my previous game jam entries.

Among Me

among me 1.gif

Kill the impostors and avoid yourself while being trapped in a temporal loop in this chaotic game. Me and my brother managed to put this together today. It's very quirky and pretty fun? Despite it's infant stage I shall pick up this blood covered new born and declare it one of my best games ever!

Give it a try it only takes 10 seconds to play. Give it a try it only takes 10 seconds to play. Give it a try it only takes 10 seconds to play. Give it a try it only takes 10 seconds to play. Give it a try it only takes 10 seconds to play...

A person played my previous entry almost every day for the last 6 months

I'm still very suprised that it resonated with someone so much. I made the game in less than 12 hours. And while it's very unique and I'm very proud of it. I didn't think that it offered THAT amount of replayability. This is a reminder that once in a while these little games we make means so much to somebody. For me it was Persist (http://ludumdare.com/compo/2013/04/28/play-persist-a-tale-of-redemption/) by @adventureIslands at ludumdare 26 that really stuck with me. I had it on my phone and played it whenever I felt bored or frustrated, for years.

Also this is my previous entry, if you're curious: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/among-me
