So… I want to present my first progress from this LD.

The game is about a toy which fell out of the bed at night. On our journey through the room we encounter lots of jumping puzzles and moody scenary.

Btw: My parents would have killed me for all those lights on at night…

This is the first screenshot of my assets in the game. Coding just started. Not too much time left to do this.

This will be a JAM game, but i will only work until compo ends.

Shepards Island will become reality :smile:

Things kinda get together. Assets are mostly done. Breeding mechanic is in work and sacrificing is planned out.... oh and sheeps walk sideways and i have no idea why. Might finish most work today.

Things i learned:

• I should start doing bigger scope games. I worked overall maybe actually 8 hours on the game.
• Blending colors in a somewhat appealing way is really hard.
• Doing nice low poly art can be really easy, this might be the best looking game i've ever made (alone).

Plans for next time:

• Maybe work with my friends again.
• Get some real game goals.
• Do my own music.

Sadly I didn't have too much time this year so i ended up going for the most simple first idea that came to my mind.
