First time participating :D

The roach has awakened from its hibernation

Just went and played several of my previous submissions again, and I'm getting pretty excited for this! The odds are pretty good that I'll end up aiming way too high again, so I'm not going to predict anything except that I'll have a great weekend jamming with all of you.

Funny how that works. I'll be jamming solo again, but because there's a bunch of us doing the same thing by ourselves at the same time, it feels like we're doing something amazing together! I have taken a weekend here or there to try to get something built out, but I am always disappointed in how little I can do when I'm truly working alone.

It doesn't really matter who fails and who comes out with a once in a lifetime gem of a game. By the end of the day on Sunday, we'll have built something great together, and by Tuesday it will be colossal.

We're going to make some great games, y'all! Get excited!

Been really busy this past week, but I was able to vote in the final round of theme voting.

It looks like my weekend plans got cancelled, so I'm joining!

I have no idea what I'm doing or even if I'll have time to make a game. For now I just voted on what seems cool for a horror type game. God willing I'll get an idea from the theme.

Normally by now, there would be a heated discussion about one or two themes. Everyone would try to convince 'the other camp' to vote for/against "Doors" or "Folklore" or "Floating Islands". Seems that the themes are somewhat inoffensive this time around. This will be one strange Ludum Dare indeed. 😁

Does anyone have an absolute favorite in the final round? And do you have idea's about your game if that one wins? @lizz and I will be doing a story driven game if it all works out. So themes that describe a vibe are ideal for us. Like "Fog" or "Ruins"

Pretty exciting...

It was my first time participating in a game jam competition, and I was really nervous! We hope that we can successfully create a game that both we and everyone else enjoy! I will try my best not to hold back my teammates!

Missed out last time due to a mix of work and taking way too long to settle on an idea.

This time I'll spend the entire jam on either a long flight, or in an airport on a layover, so maybe between the two I'll have no choice but to work on a game? 😅
