We uploaded our HTML5 embed few hours ago, but we would like to upload a newer one with improvements, then publish the game. Problem is the edit page prevents us to delete and re-upload. Any clues??
We spent most days sleep deprived and tired but we had a lot of fun brainstorming the ideas for our game. GF did the art and I did the programming.
Hermit the crab is a game about a hermit crab that grows every 10 seconds and you have to find a larger shell to protect you. OR every 10 seconds a wave runs over the screen pushing you backwards (we werent too sure on this, a combination of the two), but having a shell protects you from being pushed back too much to be able to progress to the next level. The end goal is to get to the beach where hermit gets to mate but gets eaten by a seagull.
Even though the game wont get finished we enjoyed our first gamejam together. Hope everyone had a great time despite not finishing :)
for those of us that are panicing really hard right now, knowing that they have very little time left to publish their game yet racing against time to build and publish their games.. also some 'F's for those who are destined to miss the deadline

We were happy, we had a good time... But 18h in, we had a big problem with our code on Game Maker... So, we just had to change our engine mid-Jam to jump on Unity... Sometimes, I hate this kind of bugs because we couldn't put everything we wanted in... But I hope the game's still fun ! We did our best after all !
(And we had fun making the game !)
We can work on our game page adding description and images / video after we have submitted right just no edits to the game?
the team couldn't participate full time but we managed to complete the game, some parts didn't make the cut and some parts aren't tested but I enjoyed making and playing it :) hope you guys enjoy it too

For the first time, I haven't posted anything here during the event. The reason is quite simple: we didn't have enought time for it: I had to work saturday morning, and Bouteille had a meeting in the evening.
But hey, we did it! And that's all that matters. We made a little narrative fishing game, calm and peaceful. We thought that most people would use the theme as a game mechanic, so we wanted something more... relaxing.
I'm glad we made it! It's far from perfect, and I'm not super happy with some of the UI, but hey, it's a Ludum Dare game, it's part of the fun.
I always share a photo of our setting before the event... I guess for this one, before the end of the event will do!
