It's done for me...
My game lacks of graphics and music but I must stop now... Good luck to those who continue

We finished what we think is our best game yet, but we can't upload the windows build it says: TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource. Anyone else having a similar issue?
Try out our game if you want, there's a web build and windows build on itch:

Hey everyone, @Str0nkyK0ng, @aaisara, and I are proud to present Scribble Rush!!
Scribble Rush is a party game that has you draw a growingly complex character in thirty seconds. After you're done, go check out the gallery to see what other players have made!
You can flex your creative muscle by playing our game here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/scribble-rush (Available on Windows, Mac, and Linux)

2h left and still don't have all essential mechanics, not mentioning rest of the art and sound effects. I guess I will publish my game in to the new category :/
I regret that I started yesterday, this one day of a difference would allow me to finish on time.
Lets see what I can do in the next hour or so...

I've been trying to upload builds (HTML, Mac, Windows) to my Ludum Dare 51 game page (and the HTML5 was working last night); however, I just tried and it keeps failing to upload. I receive the error "TypeError: Failed to fetch" on Google Chrome and "TypeError: Load failed" on Safari. I am just uploading the zipped builds of each respective platform. If anyone could offer any advice that would be great!
Anyone have a fix? I edit the page and it appears for a moment, then I refresh and it's gone.
Just published Automatos, was a fun 3 days after not doing much game dev for the last 6 months.

Didn't want to fail at ideation so went with something I've been wanting to do for fun: A Vampire Survivor/20 Minutes Till Dawn like game. Not the most original but thought the theme lent itself nicely to the genre.
Was made in Unity, was a mostly smooth experience except where I learned that Unity does not like apostrophes in project/folder names, that's an hour of my life I ain't getting back  .
Other than that went hard on ScriptableObjects as a backbone for data and it paid off, made adding upgrades and enemies pretty easy on that side! Inspired by watching these 2 talks a while back:
- Unite Austin 2017 - Game Architecture with Scriptable Objects : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raQ3iHhE_Kk
- Unite 2016 : Overthrowing the MonoBehaviour Tyranny in a Glorious Scriptable Object Revolution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vmRwLYWNRo
Another jam is over and it has been a lot of fun as always. We decided to do something weve never done before this time and were quite happy with the result.
The Hellchemist is an intense pve arena shooter where you will fight waves of monsters while one completely random event will happen every 10 seconds.
The game also has a leaderboard so please share your highscores in the comments!

This is our first time trying to finish Ludum Dare, learn a lot and have a lot of fun.
We try to interact with all the elements in the game, and add some plot and performance to enrich the game experience. The flow of the game is very short, but I hope you can feel the story you want to express in it.
Enjoy it~: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/51/10-is-the-end

It was one heck of a ride but we finished. I'm insanely proud of @rogueagent for doing so well in his first jam. Give it a play and let us know what you think!

Dread Shadows, our JAM Submission we made for the Ludum Dare 51 challenge with the theme "Every 10 Seconds".
Game Description
You are an explorer searching for the treasure room containing one of the legendary Crystal Skulls. Apparently the tomb you entered is cursed, lights go out every 10 seconds!
Use the time you have while you can see wisely, because you need your spatial awareness when it's dark. The tomb contains all sorts of dangers you don't want to run into! And while its dark, it's advised to keep moving around or else the mist of spirits will grow denser.
How to play
You can play the game at Itch.io in the browser, or download the stand alone client. The WebPlayer can be a little bit laggy or wonky. Use the download for the best experience. Use the link to itchio for the webversion, as it didn't fit in the LDjam embed.
How to rate and comment
Visit the Dread Shadows game page here on LD-JAM
with kind regards, Magus and Falien!

I struggled with UI all day and sadly it looks like I'm not going to get the core mechanics finished in time for the jam. :(
So instead of rushing and stressing myself out trying to get the core mechanics finished (not to mention designing an engaging map and finishing up the art), I'm going to take the time to finish everything properly and submit to the Extra category.
Well it could be worse.
I'm going to take a break, do some chores I've been neglecting all weekend, and play some of the awesome looking games that have been submitted!
Lessons learned?
